hotel très proche de la gare de bus et du centre ville, jolie décoration des chambres, petit déjeuner continental copieux et compris dans le prix (mais le petit déjeuner anglais chaud est en supplément), prix très raisonnable pour la qualité de l'hotel |

Booked a family room but got a penthouse apartment instead. No lift and we had to carry our heavy luggage all the way up to 3rd floor. |

View from the room was excellent (view of the Firth the Forth). Room was large and spacious. room was not cleaned for two days. Only after we complained was the room hoovered, bedsheets and towels changed. |

Central position of hotel. The bed was comfortable, breakfast was fine and staff were polite. The room was two floors down from ground level and the only window was high up and set back so it could not be opened. Light streamed in under the curtains. There was no hot water on the first night so I endured a cold bath. This was rectified the following day but not until late afternoon. No padded cover for the ironing board - the sheet supplied was totally inadequate. |

Friendly and helpful staff Working in premises management myself, I couldn't help wonder how on earth I'd escape in case of a fire, as there was only one fire exit, down the main stairs and I was 69 stairs up, on the very top floor. |
