i like the location and facilities the hotel offered. But other than this the staff are friendly, approachable and very good at there job
the only thing I didn't like and I have to say it's a personal thing and that was the bed was to hard.
everything and will be back, really lovely hotel, food excellent, value for money, staff were very brilliant Didnt use wifi cant comment
The rooms and staff were great
This was my 2nd time staying at balmoral . myself and my girlfriend stayed before Xmas and had a great time but this time we were givin a room above the function area and couldn't sleep with the noise.plus the cleaning staff are very noisy in the mornings
Leaving the hotel
Everything very unfriendly atmosphere not good food you couldn't rate smell of kitchens in bedroom
Nice old fashioned style hotel
The WiFi is a bit unreliable
The state of the rooms were brilliant, clean and tidy.
The television was too small.
Every member of staff we met was really friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Very quiet, spacious room with bath and shower in extremely convenient location for us. Great breakfast served in lovely restaurant. Would recommend to anybody, see yous again soon :)
Good price, Decent breakfast, good location.
Receptionist on check in & night porter very unfriendly & rude. Rooms like a sauna and no dial to turn down heat on wall or radiator, fierce noisy with glass bins being filled early in the morning and traffic noise is constant.
Staff we excellent and most helpful
Spot on except for 1 thing ? the single bed
The single bed is so small that I felt like I would fall off it (and I'm not big) but pull it off the base onto the floor and you are in business. (it was comfortable and I felt safer closer to the floor)
Room lovely and warm on a very cold day arrived in bar about five for sandwiches and tea/coffee for 3 although menu said sandwiches till 5pm there was no problem and fresh pot of tea was brought when first pot was gone. Great value and great staff.
Food was great . Staff weren't in your face but when needed there was always someone there
Good price, good food, nice bar and restaurant.
Curtains falling down, view ugh! Bathroom freezing.
The friendliness of the staff, always a smiling face to greet you, nothing too much trouble, a very comfortable homely atmosphere. I will stay here on my next visit.
Perfect stay and location
Nothing, everything fine.
Staff very friendly food was excellent
I am over 6 ft and the bed was small but minor detail
Lovely bar area and very close to belfast city. Plenty of parking and easy to find. Nice warm room
No hot water in the shower neither at night nor in the morning. Dusty room found it difficult to sleep because of this(dust allergy) tv did not work channels kept freezing
The noise from the road was bad.
Good hotel room is well maintained good bed and pillows the TV is well placed. Very clean room
only gripe would be the wedding in the hotel made our stay less than enjoyable the guests were very noisy and up to all hours not the hotels fault we know it's part of the business but just unfortunate as it is a nice hotel
good cheap hotel
could not get the heating turned off in bedroom
pretty functional as you would expect for 50 quid
they moved us three times because the heating wasn't working. they ended up putting in one of those cheap convector heaters in, not great. bare in mind this was 30th dec so it was very cold.
Excellent hotel. Would stay here again when in belfast.
Stayed on a very frostynite in december and felt the room could have been warmer
The lady on reception was very helpful
The heating and hot water wasnt working and a very loud group in the bar. We werent the only couple to leave and drink elsewhere
The staff are friendly
Bathroom water was cold at night hence had a cold warmish shower.
there was no elevator and the rooms did not have an ironing board .rooms were pretty small too and the shower took an age to heat up.
