location value for money food staff very helpful
Loved the staff very friendly. Food very good. Manager very helpful and gave a refund of £20.Overall a very nice stay
Booked a room with bath but got shower when we arrived. Room was small and cleaners didnt change bedding or towels during our stay.
Family rooms excellent Owner asset to his business Great location at Manchester pier stop
Breakfast staff un smiling and disorganised
the location was perfect for the town centre and the lounge was comfortable.
the bedrooms were very dated and not cleaned to the high standard. we are used to.There was a dead butterfly in the glass cover above the shower. The tea, coffee and hot chocolate making facilities had been switched off early on sunday night. The veggie option at breakfast which we ordered was not available.
The bar area and restaurant were very nice and the evening entertainment was pleasant
The bedroom had an uneven floor and was poorly decorated. The lift was not working and we were on the top floor. The view was of the back alley-way vents and there were cooking smells rising from kitchens of adjacent properties
Comfortable beds. Great location. Food very nice
Dated surroundings. Some staff not very friendly. Some very good
Bathroom cum Toilets were too cramped. Family rooms had very little space to move around.
there was nothlng to dislike nice bar good food friendly staff good entertainment
Room was clean and comfortable, breakfast was good and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Staff where not one bit friendly where not helpful with me with young baby
the food was good, the staff was very pleasant and helpful, location was excellant
showers was a bit dated and when your disabled they are hard to use.
Hotel needs refurbishing not nice at all carpet stained showers from years ago .and charged 220 for 3 nites .and 125 for 1 nite which didnt make sense
Booked this hotel for a weekend's break. The staff were really friendly. Great location.
Wouldn't go back, the mattress on the beds were as solid as a rock, the family room was very small and very dated. No hair dryer although there was tea and coffee maker in the room. No coat hangers, bathroom was a box, mega small. No entertainment for young children (not whilst I was there). I was told by the staff, that should I go into the evening entertainment, then my 2 5 year old's would have to sit still, well how do you get 5 year old's to sit still?? If they walked about they'd be asked to leave by the host! Overall I think the hotel is more suited to mature people, certainly plenty on offer like bingo etc. Not my kind of thing.
one of the cold taps on the bathe did not work
no were to park.rooms a bit small, kept banging my head when washing my face in sink.a bit out dated.
All the staff are very friendly and will help you with anything you need.
Disco Music on till twelve o clock even when every one had gone to bed but with the noise you could not get to sleep.
Location and Sea View Staff were very helpful and polite.
Lack of information provided in room such as breakfast times and menu for Restaurant. No Breakfast menu on table or any choice offered by staff. No entertainment, and no explanation?
food excellent Staff couldn't do enough for you I've already booked to go back to the balmoral hotel in august that's how much me an my wife enjoyed it there
the hotel in general the dinning room superb and the breakfast excellent cosy double room location and staff
although out of season the lounge could do with maybe a television for those who would like to sit in the front and enjoy a drink and watch tv whilst enjoying the sea view
