Room swap was offered without question. Staff were helpful. Broken TV, no remote control, no hot water in shower, broken pull string on bathroom wash basin light fitting. Needs care and attention to maintenance. |

Friendly staff, good breakfast, nice atmosphered. Good location for train station/arena. No soap in bathroom, loose door on chest of drawers - fell off in the middle of the night! Seemed understaffed - desk often left unmanned even during daytime. |

We chose this facility (hotel) due to its proximity to the sports grounds. The fact that it had a car park was also a bonus. There was only 1 (one) member of staff all weekend who was expected to do just about everything required. We were informed of new owners plans to spend some money to upgrade facilities. If this happens then "could" be quite good...... |

Would not stop here again. Lock didnt shut properly on door. Shower and bathroom not very clean. Toilet did not flush properly. Only 1 cup in the twin room and no coffee supplied. In desperate need of upgrading. |

The young Malawian member of staff on the reception desk was couteous and friendly. Overall, the hotel was passably clean. It was very, very basic but on the other hand, I only paid £35. In a state of disrepair. Major revamp needed, pariticularly the shower. TV had no remote and I was only able to access one channel. Kettle provided in room but no cup, tea bags, etc. |

The only good thing about this hotel is the location, its very close to town centre Where to start, the room was very small, nothing like the pictures on internet, not clean, bed linen was dirty, a single quilt on a double bed, the shower took a very long time to warm up, didn't enjoy stay at all!! |

Easy to find, and fairly central to amenities Very poorly maintained, needs desperately upgrading, the room was pleasant enough, but the bathroom was so old it would never come clean. So overall not up to a clean standard. As for the breakfast, the staff where not on the ball, so they kept forgetting to bring the food in (I never got my orange juice and toast)???? just a cold sausage and bacon. |

The receptionist was pleasant and competent, parking was ok it was terrible, breakfast was a half english, rooms were filthy, beds tiny, no hot water, poor security, no clean towels, heating on in the summer, its was just a joke for the price. |

Was so poor we left and sat in car so as we did not have to sit in room, got another room on return still very poor. getting the other room was the highlight of our stay, the room, the bar, the stairs, the outside did not chance eating the food the room had tea bags that had not been opened but looked as though they had been in a cup of water |

We didnt like anything about this hotel, it was an utter disgrace. Saving grace was that we didnt have to spend any time there. Flithy dirt hotel, flithy room and bathroom was ugh! Room was not cleaned before our arrival or on any of the days during our stay. Breakfast cereals left out on side counter from day to day and just topped up, but you could see a line on the bowl where it was never cleaned out. Lounge / Bar area was used to throw used bath towels from guest bedrooms. |

The hotel needs a lot of updating and tlc. It lets itself down on a variety of easily amended issues, such as cupboard doors falling off, dirty cutlery and glasses. Breakfast tables not set properly so without needed utensils, no toilet roll in rooms, only very small towels provided so no good for a shower, hair dryer not available as receptionist working was unsure of who lent it last, etc. |

I felt at home here, safe and relaxed, rather than contantly feeling that I'm in someone else's territory. My room was at the back, looking out over the carpark, so even though the hotel is on a busy main road, it was quiet and peaceful. They need to clear up the breakfast room every day, not just when there are no set places left! |

The room was clean. Fresh towels with hand soap. Could have a side lamp so you don't need to get up to turn light off. Tv can be updated as well. |

absolutely nothing, it was shocking everything, rooms were disgusting, smelt of cigarettes so bad it stuck at the back of your throat all night. there was no room for breakfast the next day. the rooms were really small for a double room. The car park security light shone through our window all night. the hotel needs desperate care and attention. carpets are all frayed on the stairs, the staff were unhelpful and quite rude! |
