Easy to locate and parking in the forecourt. Good selection for breakfast

Friendly staff and the chance to eat in the restaurant with mixed cuisine

The staff were fantastic, friendly and very helpful. Although the single room was small in comparison to a more modern hotel I think the fact that this is a family run hotel in a nice area of Southport with a relaxing atmosphere more than makes up for a few square metres. The breakfast was comprehensive and full with a choice of eggs which was a surprise when considering the price (included in my room price). I would stay here again and would recommend it to you if you are looking for personal service and a smile! Ils parlent même le français!

We stayed in a garden room. Comfortable beds, warm room, plenty of hot water, good shower pressure, nice coffee for breakfast. Reasonable value for money. Animals allowed.

No enough car parking spaces when business people booked in

We were made very welcome, and were surprised by the size of our very spacious room and bathroom. The buffet breakfast provided us with everything we could need, and the evening meal, was freshly cooked and extremely tasty. We were able to sit in the garden and enjoy the last of the afternoon sun before dinner. As our visit was a last minute decision, budget was our first priority, so we were unsure of what the hotel would be like, but we were delighted with the hotel, and will certainly return.

No heating in bathroom

We really appreciated the warm welcome received from proprietors. They both are exceptionally warm and also efficient. The hotel room was very comfortable. Access to the town centre and shopping is a great advantage. Adequate parking at the hotel was a bonus. Altogether a good experience and one we would be glad to repeat.

The hotel was very cosy and comfy. It was very easy to locate, too. I managed to get myself a parking space at the hotel near 9pm although all the rooms were fully booked. I stayed in a single bed room. Although the room was compact, it was ensuite and the decoration was pretty (French country style). The hotel provided a personal computer with free internet access in the reception area. It came in handy as I did not bring my labtop with me. The breakfast exceeded my expectation. They provided cereal, sausages, bacons, tomatoes, bread, pastry, milk, yogurt, tea and coffee in buffet style. Not many selections but given the price I paid (£25), I thought it was very good value! The waitress was very friendly and she even asked me if I wanted any egg freshly made. It was a family run hotel, and all the staff were very friendly and helpful. The female owner came and talked to me when I was having my breakfast and she was very pleasant!

The remote control was a bit filthy and needs cleaning.
