Beautiful home with lovely gardens. Large rooms, well presented, with thoughtful individual decor. Friendly proprietor provided tasty, well cooked breakfast. Should be 5 star.

Bathroom lacked a towel rail and shaver point, and the shower was hand-held. However, bathroom renovations are being planned.

I enjoyed the large bedroom lots of room to move about in. Clean facilities. Owners very pleasant. Very welcoming greeted on arrival. Nice quiet location.

How spotless everything was. Nothing to much bother. Owners lovely.

We loved Morag's beetroot cake and Stuart's genorosity with the Scotch bottle ensures a good review for Balmuirfield House. Wee Josephine is following in her parent's footsteps as a friendly and entertaining hostess. A great experience.

Lovely property with very friendly owners. Good breakfast and a pleasant room. When travelling on a budget I normally just book the most convenient B&B but I would go out of my way to stay here again. We ate in an excellent restaurant recommended by the B&B owners.

Friendly and welcoming hosts in a lovely house on the edge of Dundee. Perfect for relaxing and yet accessible to all amenities. Great breakfast and would highly commend

Dog Friendly, beautiful comfortable rooms. Great hosts even had pressies for the dogs. Welcomed with tea and cakes in front of a roaring log fire. Couldn't have asked for a better stay.

Shower a bit awkward to get right either to hot or too cold. May need better mixer taps.

Fantastic stay in a quiet, rural setting, nearby Dundee. Only 10 minutes away from the city by bus or taxi, and in nice rural area. And in these winter days the tea room with fire was very charming and heart warming.

Excellent family run b+b, Morag and Stuart have tastefully restored this beautiful country house. Rooms are spacious and well equiped coupled with friendly service, one of the best b and b I've ever stayed at. Next time would bring my wife rather than a rush business trip.

Being on edge of Dundee suits visitors with own transport.

Couldn't ask for anything more 10 out of 10

This is a lovely place where you are made to feel welcome. The bed is large and comfortable, the curtains almost black out the light from the room and everything is so well designed and put together. I will most definitely return

Lovely furnishings throughout the house including a great four poster bed. Our host (Stuart) was very attentive providing tea in the afternoon, a lovely log fire in the evening and the breakfast was great too. The house is set off the road in a pretty woodland area. We highly recommend it!

A warm friendly family home, they make you feel very welcome. A beautiful relaxing atmosphere, a perfect retreat for any occasion. I would highly recommend Balmuirfield House.

Everything from start to finish was perfect. Host's excellent and always informative, accomodating. Tranquil setting/a perfect hideaway. The accomodation was fisrt class and so comfortable. A brilliant stay and would definately go again. Truly lovely.
