Balquhidder Braes Holiday Park  

Very cozy, nice cabin with well-equipped facility is located by the main a84 roadside.

Comfortable cosy lodge even in winter

Could do with a place to hang outdoor coats especially when weather was wet.

Great location and a lovely cabin - particularly liked the fire and the owners dogs, Gwen and Buddy :) The cabin had everything you need, plus a dishwasher! Staff were great - really helpful and friendly. Loved the area - especially the Arygall Red Kite Visitor centre in Doune. We watched them coming into feed, and also spotted other birds of prey like buzzards. Great value for money and a great guide - highly reccommended We will be back :)

The lodges were extremely warm and comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked and the bathroom was good too.

Poor reception. We arrived in the dark only at 5pm - not late but there was no one in reception and the button system was not lit. There is a mobile phone number but mobile phones have no reception in that area of the mountains. On departure we could not find anyone to hand back the key or ensure correct payment. Very poor reception

The cabins were comfortable, well equipped and excellent value for money.

In a great location. The animals at the park were lovely and friendly. Great for children.

We stayed in a log cabin which was very spacious and clean.

Le logement lui-même est confortable, la vaisselle fournie suffisante. Machine à laver et sèche-linge performants dans les parties communes.

Sa situation en bordure d'une route très bruyante. Le manque d'hygiène : la cuisine et la salle de bains sales (placards et réfrigérateur dans la cuisine, salle de bains : odeurs désagréables dans l'environnement des toilettes - manifestement on ne nettoye que le wc lui-même, pas les alentours qui en ont bien besoin). Des "couettes" de lit sales. Le lit de la chambre parentale cassé qu'il faut caler soi-même pour qu'il tienne debout. Les serviettes de toilette non fournies alors qu'on n'est pas prévenu et qu'il n'y a pas de magasins alentour. Manque d'étagères dans les chambres.

We loved the lodge which was well equipped and enjoyed beautiful views. We took bikes and the park has great access to NCR 7 along former railway routes. There's also some good walking nearby.

On Site facilities a little limited, but then you don't come to the area for a lively holiday park. The small playground and little shop were fine.
