The room was cold and windows had major draughts, food was poor. I will not be staying at this hotel ever again and will also not recommend it to any of my colleagues.

Clean rooms, free car park, residents bar opening later Our room was located over the bar/ dining area, and beside the smoking terrace, all fine first night (Friday)on our arrival back to the hotel on Saturdat night (20.30hrs) a christmas party was in full swing, music finished at 12, guests retired for the night at 01.30hrs Breakfast costs £12, in your dreams!!!!!!!

Hotel staff were excellent, friendly and helpful. The room was small but clean and had everything I needed. Plenty of parking spaces. Close enough to walk into Middlesbrough town centre. Breakfast was superb, lots of choice and a very good service. As this was a business trip I didn't get much chance to do much else, so my choices in question 2 I've restricted to business, shopping and city trip. Noisy neighbours!!! Not the hotels fault I know, Saturday night I had to listen to a couple arguing.......loudly, and Sunday night it sounded like someone jumping from the wardrobe every 5 minutes...............perhaps it was the same couple!!

We were at a function. The food was lovely and a change from your bog standard buffet. It covered all tastes. The room overlooked Marton Road and was very noisy with traffic all night. Had to have the window open as it was so warm

Free wifi was available everywhere in the hotel. The lack of air conditioning meant that I had to leave the windows open all night. Unfortunately this meant I was woken each morning at 6am by kitchen staff who threw open the windows and went about their business with all of the associated noises - pans and cutlery can be remarkably loud at an early hour!

Staff were very welcoming and friendly. Room service dinner was quick, well presented & the staff delivering it very polite & friendly. My room had been cleaned to a reasonable standard but the bin in the bathroom had not been emptied. Also, although reasonable, I didn't feel the decore/ furniture was fitting for a £95/night hotel.
