The room The bath room The bed Wifi Staff Breakfast
Bed was a good size. Room was modern.
No iron or ironing board. Wooden floor in the bedroom. Not good after getting out of the shower. Not much room around the bed.
Very clean room and hotel Comfortable bed Nice decor Good location Helpful staff
9 am breakfast closed on weekend, would be nice if it could be extended slightly to allow for a sleep in. Would have been nice if there were disposable slippers. otherwise everything was great.
The breakfast was far too early for the weekend, over at 9. No atmosphere, rooms very small and being woken by builders at 7am. Was meant to be a relaxing break without the kids.
Easy and ample parking. Smart reception and dining room. Good breakfast.
It's all well and fine having enormous beds, but it leaves a very small gap between bed and wall. It is possible to burn yourself on the electric heaters whilst negotiating this small gap.
The bed is large, and very firm. Bathroom is large and modern. Rooms were clean enough. Reception open 24hrs
We have stayed here twice now, but on the second occasion there was a loud banging which appeared to be coming from the pipes which continued all night and stopped us from sleeping. The staff were not particularly helpful, and tried to pretend initially that they couldn't hear it. The walls are paper thin - I could hear next door's mobile phone vibrate when it received text messages. The bathroom sinks are stupidly small and totally impractical with a ridiculously placed shelf above making even brushing one's teeth an ordeal. Other than that, the hotel is fine - basic and poor quality finish in places (eg curtain rails which fall off) but overall would have put up with small issues if it weren't for the noise
Staff very amicable. Room small but very comfortable and I simply adore the bathroom all brand new. Wi Fi worked perfectly and I liked the breakfast. I will definitely recommended for other courses that will be held at James Cook Hospital
absoutley everything, cannot fault anything.Staff were more than welcoming and helpful.Room was luxury, the en-suite even more luxurious.Breakfast amazing, wide choice, Dining room, bar and lobby very chic and beautifully decorated throughout.Well done to everybody at the baltimore. We will be back xxx
nothing, everything was 110 percent!!!
Big free car park Friendly staff Room well equipped Problems resolved efficiently
Room wasn't clean Debris and dirt on the floor. Shower cubicle hadn't been cleaned very well. Shower head grimy and old toothpaste stains on the outside of wash basin. Just needs a little more attention to detail to make a good stay. Breakfast only served until 9 am on weekend.
Lovely, lovely staff - especially Kate who was so helpful and friendly. Modern decor (but let down by lots of badly finished elements and 'snagging'. Early breakfast - great for business travel. Nice comfy bar area.
Owner had friends staying whose children were very noisy. Very noisy parrot in echoy entrance hall - could be heard everywhere (first 2 nights i thought this was the children as i hadn't seen the parrot!) Thin walls in the rooms (had to sit in bar for some quiet from the family in and out of rooms and slamming doors and shouting to each other) Tiny, tiny rooms - very claustraphobic (heard other guests complaining of this too) Some snagging where the hotel has been clearly been done up quickly/cheaply. Food is average but good value. Although bathroom was clean room needed a good dusting.
Quietness, good food
Hard to find
Breakfast was excellent choice and Quality, I booked the suite and found it very good with an excellent Bathroom with large shower and hot tub Jaccuzi, Staff were friendly and Car park was well serviced with CCTV and night porter. This is my second visit and will stay again when next in Middlesbrough
a small critic would be the Bed in the suite was very low and could be a problem for not so nimble people
Rooms clean .nice bar area.Breakfast very good.friendly efficient service. Would stay gete again
Foyer large and minimalist
Very small room for a double bed - no room each side to walk round. Shower was freezing cold regardless of setting. Sink didn't drain as plug was stuck.
The breakfast and bar area
Bed to hard heating noisy being above the reception meant door to stairs could be heard slamming the housekeeping could have been better dust everywhere hairs in shower and toilet and not from the head cup not clean almost felt as if room was prepared in hurry
Friendly service, good breakfast, very fair value for money. Had a decent night's sleep.
Room would have been small for two people. Bathroom suffered from poor layout (couldn't wash face due to location of shelf over basin) and shower doors didn't meet in the middle. Thin walls with some noise from adjoining rooms.
The hotel was clean, welcoming and the bed nice and comfortable. Staff were friendly and the breakfast was really nice. The bar at night was reasonable to come back to after an evening out, although the choice of beers was limited. it was overall a lovely place to stay, with clean rooms and a smart, modern decor.
The gap at both sides of the massive bed meant you had to turn sideways to get through to getting in to it, so although it was very comfortable, it did make it difficult to get into. There was a shortage of milk cartons, and the butter packs at breakfast were not real butter
Breakfast excellent Staff friendly and helpful Bar facilities good for relaxing in an evening Cleanliness
Hard bed but purely a personal preference
Big clean beds. Good shower and bathroom facilities. Excellent choice of breakfast included on the very reasonable price
Reception, Bar and Restaurant were all superb, however that's where it stopped.
\room was dirty with sawdust on the floor, faulty light in bathroom and low water pressure resulting in cold shower. This was reported following arrival, but no action was taken to resolve. Someone with a dustpan nd broom to clear the floor would have been nice. Key card did not always, although issued with 2. Needed 2 cards to get lights to stay on.Bathroom was not properly cleaned.Tiles by sink were dirty as was window sill and tops of light and power switches. Sink in bathroom was modern and attractive but totally inadequate due to shelf above too low. to be able to use the sink properly. Bed was so uncomfortable and too large for the room! Finished up sleeping in an armchair for two hours as back was aching so bad. Totally unacceptable for £60.00 per night. On checkout staff really did not seem interested in comments, but did explain room was at the end of the water run! Would I stay again....Never
The room was bizarre in a good way. We were up graded to a suite which was massive. Big jet bath and separate shower, bathroom larger than most double rooms! Full Breakfast service prompt efficient and polite. Good parking at hotel.
Where the place was located, although extremely convenient for Football Ground and Town Centre. Just not for walking round.
Friendly clean and convenient
A bit noisy as lots of hard floors so sound travelled
The friendliness of staff, good substantial breakfast, comfortable bar.
Bedroom a little tight for space. Wash basin too small.
simple, staff were very freindly
Quality of room and the breakfast
