The interior of the hotel, did not match the outside of hotel. Very noisey,as there was a wedding reception at night ,if they had made us aware of this at time of booking we would not have booked.

Hotel is situated close to beach front, with main town centre only a short but hilly walk away and is quite a useful base to tour the local area from.

The hotel was looking very tired and is need of refurbishment. Our room was small, but clean. However - I would not have wanted to stay more than one night in this hotel. The walls were rather thin and we could hear the rather energetic exploits of the couple in the next room - down to the last heavy breath !!! Would probably not stay here again.

We thought Fawlty Towers was mythical until we stayed there. We expected Basil Faulty to appear at any time shower good Friday afternoon, either no waterproof cold after that until 1030 Sunday. The plumbing plays you tunes if you like that all night. Doors and WC can be heard when used whatever time. Almost every thing

Fabulous welcome from the lady at the front desk. Beautiful room with a four poster bed was not what we were expecting. A door led out into the well groomed gardens. Breakfast and restraunt staff very welcoming. Superb value for money. Just a shame we only stopped for the one night. Strange smell from the bar/function room.

The friendliness of the staff was excellent In my view the room was not a twin but just a double room, you couldn't walk around both beds and they were pushed together like a double we lacked space to relax, also there was a motor/Generator stopping and starting all night outside the rooms window so we didn't get a pieceful time away we were looking for.

The ensuite toilet seat was loose and the bed was noisy. The air conditioning plant was outside the room window and ran all night so was a hindrance to sleep.

The staff were very good eventhough there was a coach party about to arrive and a hen party already in receiption. The room was fine for our short stay and very clean - did not have time to use the facilities. Breakfast was very busy but again the staff were very professional. Would stay here again.

The rooms were smelly and the whole place was quite old fashion. We were a group of 28 year olds and felt extremely out of place. We would recommend it for the older generation. Actually to whole town was for the older generation.

Clean, nice location. The rest of the clientele were of an age, to the point that the hotel had put on bingo, so the group didn't feel very comfortable.

Friendly atmosphere, comfortable and clean room, entertainment, reasonable bar prices and excellent value for money 3 course evening meal for £10.00 good breakfast, attentive staff. Slightly old fashioned (blankets instead of duvet on bed) but clean and seviceable. I would go there again as it was excellent value for money. Room was slightly cold but it was a freezing cold day!!!

The hotel is in an excellent location. The room was large, clean and well furnished. All the staff were more than helpful in every aspect of our stay. The food at breakfast was lovely and the chef catered for special dietary requirements. We would definitely stay again
