Hotel information

The heated indoor pool is approximately 3 ft deep. Early birds can swim from 7 am through to 7 pm.

Unfortunately, due to the age of the hotel, not all the rooms in the hotel are accessible for visitors in wheelchairs, but there are ramps to the restaurant and an elevator from the front entrance to front desk and the second floor. Once in the lobby, you have easy access to the Cabaret Bar, which has disabled bathroom facilities.

If you have any mobility problems, please inform the hotel at the time of booking before rooms are allocated.

For business events, the hotel provides a high-quality large-screen projector, (free for use), Wi-Fi internet and a PA system. The hotel can also tailor-make a conferencing package for you, including accommodations and hospitality service.

The main function room can accommodate up to 150 people, while downstairs there is a large pub-style function room, complete with stage, bar and dance floor, that can hold 120 people.

Star Cabaret Bar:
First-class entertainment awaits you most evenings. All entertainment is always free to guests.

The Avenue Bar:
The more intimate Avenue Bar has its own dance floor and comfortable lounge-style seating. This is where the very popular Rock n Roll and Soul nights are held.

Local produce is used as much as possible. Specialties are fish, which is always offered as one of the daily choices, and homemade soup.

During the day, sandwiches are available from the front desk.

If you have any special dietary requirements, please inform the hotel at the time of booking so they can make suitable arrangements.

Slightly old fashioned (blankets instead of duvet on bed) but clean and seviceable. I would go there again as it was excellent value for money. We expected Basil Faulty to appear at any time shower good Friday afternoon, either no waterproof cold after that until 1030 Sunday. The plumbing plays you tunes if you like that all night.
