Banff Springs Hotel  

Everything about our stay was very good and we would certainly come again. However!!!! The wedding party smoking outside the main door were a disgrace. They blocked the doorway, would not let either my wife nor I pass and the language was not of the best. It was a very intimidating experience.

Rooms were clean, Staff friendly, view was very nice

We have been to the hotel before for a conference the meal on the saturday evening was excellent but a waitress named kay had a most unfortunate manner and did not make us feel welcome at all. HOWEVER MAXINE THE RECEPTIONIST WAS EXCELLENT AND SO CHATTY AND HELPFUL. SHE IS DEFINATELY AN ASSET TO THE HOTEL. BECAUSE OF HER I DID NOT COMPLAIN ABOUT THE WAITRESS AS I KNOW ANOTHER TABLE HAD COMPLAINED BITTERLY. WE WERE THERE FOR A COUNTRY MUSIC NIGHT ON THE SATURDAY AND IT WAS GREAT

Didnt like the reception we got in the bar when going in for our booked meal. Kay the waitress was very grim, no smile and most unhelpful. We almost walked out.

The location and price.

There was a draft coming in under the bedroom door and the skylight in the bathroom rattled all night. The bar area was not very warm.

We attended a family wedding at Banff Springs Hotel. The facilties were good and the food excellent. Our room was spotless and comfortable and offered very good value for money. Some rooms had a beautiful view over the bay - worth asking for this when you book.

The restaurant and bar facilities were very good and we had a very nice meal in the bar.

The hotel is well located and has a fantastic view of the bay. The food and service in the bistro bar are good.

I booked 2 rooms as doubles for single occupancy and arrived to be given 2 twin rooms. The whole idea of taking a double is that you get a bigger bed. A twin is just 2 single beds. Not good and the hotel blamed Booking.com for the error.

On arrival reception staff were most welcoming. Dining room staff in the evenng were excellent and the neal itself was delicious and value for money. Buffet breakfast was more than adequate and again staff were friendly and took time to chat.

Friendly helpful staff in pleasant surroundings.

Nobody offered to take the bage to and from the room.

Very comfortable hotel with friendly & helpful staff. The food was very well presented & also enjoyed the beer !!!! Well recommended !!!!

Stayed there 4 years ago, and chose it this year go revisit. It's a lovely hotel, and very curtious staff, I would recommend it to anyone, sea views to die for.
