Staff were really helpful and friendly, beds very comfy Loud music until early hours. Directly opposite a nightclub, plugs hanging off the walls lifted and cracked tiles on the bathroom floor.

This hotel was dingy, tiny, and the staff was rude. Not only did someone from the staff drunkenly enter our room at 1am, the front desk continued to make up excuses about how no one knew the room was booked and they must have been trying to clean it. The icing on the cake is that there was another couple at the front desk at the same time, complaining of the same issue- and the desk clerk said that it was due to a drunken party for the staff. No compensation was attempted, the clerk basically told us we were out of luck. DO NOT STAY HERE.

One of the staff members who helped me with any inquiry was extremely helpful and friendly. My room was horrible. The radiator was on full blast and there was no way of turning it down. A light was hanging out of it's socket in the ceiling. There was stains and marks all over the walls. The toilet brush holder in the bathroom was disgusting! Also would of helped if there was a towel or mat to put on the floor of the bathroom so the floor wasn't soaked when I got out of the shower. The wallpaper above my door was crusty and hanging off. Holes in the walls and stains on the skirting boards. The most awful smell in the corridor. Smelt like sewage. Most of the staff were miserable and too busy looking at the computer to gain eye contact with you. I will not be staying here again in a hurry.

The way they had taken payment for the room from my card before I had even arrived and gave me the receipt upon arrival. When you walk in it seems warm until you get to the room and realise that the Radiator is turned off with such force you need a pair of mole grips to turn the valves back on Fortunatley I had some in the boot of my car. The chill in the room wasn't helped by the window that had a broken hinge and wouldn't close properly but having wrestled with the radiator for half an hour I only had three attempts at closing the window as best I could. I then amused myself for the next ten minutes by reading some paperwork which was clearly visible on top of the wardrobe which was from an asylum seeker from Durham explaining to the government as to why he should be allowed asylum. The Noise of the Stairs door banging outside my Room all night , The lack of hygiene behind the drawers and particularily down the back of the radiator I wouldn't have noticed this but for my long encounter with it and the window. The Pillows were the thinest I have ever seen in a hotel as was the quilt obviously due to age of both. To cap it all as I was settling down for the night I found a Bait Box (Mouse Trap). Whislt the Hotel boast's wifi in Public Areas this seems to be anywhere within 5m of the reception, I did manage to overcome this by sitting in my car outside reception in minus 5 weather conditions for an hour to check my e-mails and answer them. Please please don't BOOk THiS dump.
