Modern hotel with spa facility in good location, ideal for a short business trip, good value for money given the spa facility. |

good service and excellent members of staff, particularly the friendly receptionists. Also, lovely atmosphere the location of the room- it was way too close to the motorway, which meant I had to keep the windows closed for the duration of my stay! |

Staff went the extra mile to help us reach it, when satnav failed to find Eden Terrace. Access to both motorway and public transport to city centre. Television did not have BBC 1, 2 and 3, nor was it possible to install these channels. |

Very good leisure facilities, gym, swimming pool, sauna, steam room and jacuzzi. Rooms where very modern, great telly too. Great hotel overall, would recommend Location was out of town but if you have a car then only 5 minutes into Durham centre. Had a shopping centre within walking distance which was good though... |

I used it as a base for a buisiness meeting. I used the pool next door and also had breakfast there. I made full use of the free boradband which was very fast and easy to connect. No amazing value |

A friendly reception from all the staff. A very functional hotel, with an excellent gym next door. Everything was very clean and well maintained and there is a good bus service into Durham. Some way out of the centre of Durham. |

As there were no family rooms available they gave us one of their disabled rooms - this was very large - comfortable for a family of four. Everything in room, for example, TV, bed, shower, was of good quality/condition. It didn't feel like a budget hotel. We enjoyed using Health club next door. They did not warn us in advance that children could not use the swimming pool after 7pm. |

Modern decor, good comfortable and quiet room. Excellent leisure facilities at the health club next door which I used. Friendly and helpful staff. Times of breakfast were a bit confusing and although this was next door in the leisure club, this was quite a good arrangements |

Room clean, comfortable, and in very good order. Floors of bathroom very clean, and i therefore would recommend this hotel to anyone. The food facilities acros the way at the sports center were poor.£13 for a breakfast for two not very good. Dinner night before was miserable, and I suspect most people ate elswhere. Shame because the added bonus of being able to use the sports facilities was great. |

The ability to use the swimming pool and leisure complex was a bonus. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The location was inconvenient. Without a car, the only route into the city centre was by taxi £10 one way (which soaked up the savings made on the hotel rate). Added to which, the hotel was on a trading estate and the environment was not entirely suited to walking back to the hotel during the dusk/early evening due to the lack of people around. |

Very good swimming pool, sauna, and spa. Free during your stay at the hotel. Open till about 9=30pm on a Sunday evening. Staff were excellent during my stay - very warm welcome. Although within 50m of the A1(M), the room was relatively quiet so long as the windows were kept shut. |

Availability of Sports facilities. Good reception. Poor timing of breakfast availability. 8am start is not good enough for business purposes. Room was tidied only roughly and bed not made up to acceptable standard. Price was too high for standard. |
