The staff were extremely helpful. I found the hotel comfortable, clean and straightforward - exactly what I needed. I guess it would have been easier to have some kind of eating facilities on site but once I was organised this wasn't really a problem.

Spatial rooms with couch to sit in - really good aspect - with good WiFi reception. Saggy, soft bed (even if two singles put together, sagginess was simply awful!). Pillows were too thin (had to double up pillow for some kind of comfort - still insufficient).

The food & drinks good value for money , the use of gym , rooms spot on , as a company you have the balance just right for me . You could do with a contract with a taxi company ,the cab from hotel not bad but still £6 into Durham , getting back £9.50 only a short trip .

Very friendly and welcoming. Flexible when I was a few minutes late checking out. Main reason for choosing it originally was to have use of pool and gym as well as the hotel stay and both pool and gym were what I had hoped for - not too crowded; you don't have to undergo an induction programme as you do at many public gyms. Good value - more comfortable and accommodating than many more expensive hotels. Clean, modern accommodation, free Wi-fi and large comfortable beds. My only regret now I am up in Durham again staying with friends is you can't pay to go to the gym/pool at Bannatynes on a one-off basis without becoming a regular member and as I live nowhere near one the rest of the time, it isn't an option for me to enrol as a member.

The price we paid for the room was really good, and we would have made use of the fitness club had we not already had a long day travelling. This is definitely a no frills hotel. After staying at various chain and independent budget hotels during our trip, this was the most disappointing. Our room was on the noisy side of the hotel, right next to the motorway and the windows clearly not soundproofed. The room was stuffy as well, but it would have been noisier to open the window for some air. The closest place by far to eat is the pub associated with a Premier Inn. If we had known this, we would have spent the extra money to have stayed there for the convenience. The fitness club does offer breakfast, but it was limited.

Did what it said on the tin. Staff I met lovely comfortable clean room. Burnt myself in shower in leisure centre. Felt the reply I got a bit snotty, I wear glasses I couldn't see that someone had turned the temp up to max and a child may not be able to see. I did hand check before I stood under but went scalding in seconds, Re: reply from Colin Mac gillivary, (This is not a common issue that I am aware of in the club. As a result I have contacted our engineering contractors who will attend as quickly as possible to investigate and resolve the issue. In the mean time I have arranged for signage to go up at the showers advising of the hot temperature when the dial is turned fully to hot.)

Staff were good We were in no 3 room which was a large room for people with disability's. That aspect was not a problem, but the Bathroom was. The door did not shut very well, a gap at the btm, the fan went on for too long, everytime somebody flushed or had a shower you could hear the water gush down the pipes.
