A short walk from central Folkestone and 5 miles from the port of Dover, the Banque House can reserve free parking spaces for guests and serves full English breakfasts. There are many bars and restaurants a short walk from the Banque House hotel; food can be delivered to your room and hotel guests’ discounts are available. Breakfasts are also served to your room and are made with local produce. All the bedrooms have a bathroom with a hairdryer. They all come with tea/coffee making facilities and many overlook tree-lined Castle Hill Avenue. The Hotel was just what I wanted,a nice, comfortable room. A good hearty breakfast served in roomand on time by a nice proprieitor. I would stay there again.

meget rimelig pris, yderst serviceminded og venligt personale - dog først efter personligt møde hotellet måtte desværre flytte mig til andet hotel, efter sigende pga skade på det bookede rum. Det er hvad der kan ske, men havde derefter problemer med at få hotellets manager til at skaffe parkering (vigtigt pga gangbesvær) på andet hotel, som oprindeligt aftalt. Det endte dog med at gå i orden efter hjælp fra kompetent engelsktalende familie. Selve hotellet kan jeg ikke anmelde, da jeg, som nævnt, blev flyttet til et andet. Jeg nåede dog at se et andet værelse jeg/familien også havde booket - det var grimt og stærkt forældet, men dog rent og ganske rimeligt prisen taget i betragtning. Det samme galdt det hotel jeg blev flyttet til.

Good location and a comfy bed. Owner very polite and welcoming. Room tired and dated. Very old fashioned and everything falling apart. Felt more like a bedsit than a hotel.
