First time I've had a shower with an oak beam overhead, excellent accommodation, big choice for breakfast

Peaceful location, comfortable accomodation, in pleasant surroundings at reasonable cost. Breakfast in the room was a nice touch, with quality food on offer, with a good choice of menu. Look forward to returning for a relaxing break.

Steve Bant welcomed us very warmly. The breakfast served in the room was excellent. The room was well heated in the early evening. The public house is very easily accessed, is very friendly, and the food was excellent.

The room was rather small The en-suite was equally small. It was not an ideal winter retreat as the buildings are not well insulated. The sealed units to the windows need replacing. For a very cold weekend the heating was not on long enough in the morning and the air chilled very quickly. There are no communal facilities, as the advert suggests - the Public House no longer being owned by Bants - and the surrounding areas are limited.

Our stay was very relaxing.spotlessly clean .comfortable bed and nice warm room on such a cold weekend .

Very friendly proprietors, the light breakfast served in our rooms, the glass of sherry before we went out for a meal on the Saturday, proximity to pubs serving very good pub food.

It was a very special room - a sense of being luxurious without being extravagantly priced. Really like the room-service breakfast. Very civilised and enhanced the whole stay

Bants is quirky and quaint with lots of beams and sharp corners - a proper old English pub. The food was great and the service excellent. All the staff were friendly and helpful. And did I mention the food?!

The stairs to our room were very steep which could cause some travellers a problem, although I'm sure other rooms would have easier access.

Arrived late but we were welcomed and immediately shown to our rooms of which were a very high standard indeed. Very clean, T.V and ensuite etc. Very comfortable night and to top it all off, excellent brealfast in the morning with a huge choice, spoilt for choice actually. We would definately stay at this establishment again in the future and would highly reccomend it to anyone.

Not sure if some of the furniture goes with the age of the hotel especially in the St lenelms suite and the bathroom good and should be a bit more luxurious from the prices charged in that particular room any way

Very friendly and helpful staff. Room very comfortable clean and welcoming. Evening meal and breakfast excellent highly recommended. Lovely relaxing atmosphere in the bar lounge area. We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend away and will definitely be back. Will recommend bants to friends who are looking for a relaxing break.

We were stopping at Bants due to a wedding being held at Spetchley Gardens, ideal location and warm welcome from the landlord. The room was beautiful and the location was quiet. The breakfast was very nice.

Only negative was that a curfew was initially placed on us for 11.30pm which was not ideal as were attending a wedding until 1am. There was no mention of this on the Booking.com website or their own website and we only found out as we enquired about a key to get back in. Thankfully they lifted the curfew as long as we promised not to make any noise upon our return.

Rooms bit dated, don't like blankets on bed, shower just ok but funny bad smell from loo area.
