We liked everything about this place what more can I say! Book it!
Would have liked a king bed in the master bedroom but that's all.
I stayed here with my family, two young boys, mother and her dog. It was lovely great accommodation and lovely breakfast and good facilities for the children. The owners were so helpful nothing was too much trouble.
My partner and I were looking for somewhere nice and quiet for one night while visiting friends in the area. We couldn't have picked better than this place. The rooms are clean and we'll presented, with good size flat screen tv's and plenty of tea and coffee and even hot chocolate sachets! We had the four poster room which was fantastic. Breakfast in the morning was tasty and plentiful and the staff friendly and helpful. Highly recommended!
One bed cabin with all facilities location staff so friendly cleanliness
Peaceful and very cosy.
Would of liked to of checked in a few hours earlier.
Great location and setting. Fantastic if travelling with a dog. Comfortable warm room. Friendly and helpful owners. Lovely breakfast - filled you up for the day. Will be back!
The warm welcome Location Breakfast
Nothing at all
Nothing we didnt like
The staff were excellent and really understood our needs - we are a family of 5 with very young children! Playpark excellent, early breakfast, great wifi, lovely family suite. Many thanks to Sarah and her family x
Nothing! Everything was lovely.
rooms food hospitality, position
bumpy lane in the dark
Friendliness of owners. We stayed in the loft, which is very spacious and well equipped. Breakfast was very nice as well.
Peaceful location and relaxing ambience, but close to Pickering by car. Owners very friendly and helpful. Excellent breakfast! Recommended and hope to visit again.
No complaints whatsoever.
The host was incredibly nice!
There was only one wine glass
Was an ideal location to visit both York and Whitby! The couple who own farm was very welcoming and helpful. Room was better then what we expected for the price. Was really big and spacious with lovely decking area outside. Breakfast was spot on, filled you up for the rest of the day!
Only down fall was the bed, every time u went to move it creaked!
Personal log fire in each cabin
Only thing that was a downfall was hard pillows other than that everything was absolutely brilliant
We only stayed overnight en-route to a family event but accommodation was excellent, child friendly (ours wanted to stay longer to explore more!) very friendly & helpful owners and the breakfast was excellent in a lovely conservatory overlooking countryside.
Nothing comes to mind. Modern technology gave up on us so had to phone for directions for last bit of journey but that's one of those things!
Breakfast was lovely - very filling We had room no. 11 - perfect place, very cosy, clean & warm Farm animals were all friendly (and we got to see the 1 week old calf) Although we don't have children, the facilities were excellent for them! Outside play area with a range of table football, ping pong, snooker and lots more. There was a large selection of DVDs to chose from in reception
Bit of a long bumpy road to get there - but hey it is a farm :)
S.taff were very friendly. The room was well equipped and very boutique stylish. Lovely breakfast and setting. The animals were cute
Friendly greeting on arrival with good advice on staying here very comfy bed in nice room Excellent choice of breakfasts and excellent breakfast tea/coffee Friendly chat with guests
I guess most things I encountered were very good. so nothing I disliked If I did would have said to owners. So sum up a very enjoyable stay Thank you
The breakfast set you up for the day, the host could not do enough for you the best weekend we had in a long time can not wait till we go back.
Only stayed overnight. Received a good welcome on arrival and shown to our room. Room was lovely, just as expected as booked a small twin room. Saying that there was more than enough room for my daughter and I. Facilities in room were great, all the usual tea and coffee. Fluffy towels - not big but sufficient. Leather settee was a good idea so not sitting on the bed all the time. Shower powerful and hot, nice toiletries. In the morning the view was outstanding. Breakfast was lovely, all you could eat and hot. Cereals, juice and toast on offer. Would have liked fresh fruit salad but no problem. Lots of coffee and tea. Great B and B. Lots of videos and games for the kids and lovely sitting area in reception. Hosts fantastic and friendly. Animals are also kept at the farm but didn't have chance to see them as left early ish. Would definately return now I know the way and maybe will book a bigger room or maybe a lodge if staying for a few days. Thanks for a pleasant overnighter.
The only downside is finding this lovely farm. We left Flamingoland early so could get there in daylight. Didn't happen!!! Satnav kept taking me round in circles, up dirt tracks ending in nowhere. I phoned the owners who were great and directed me to the B and B. Quite difficult to find, whether it was my satnav or not, it was quite a lonely road and difficult in the dark
People, food, accommodation...lovely.
Only slight drawback was the lane access...probably just because I'm a townie!
