The location and decor of the hotel were excellent. We stayed in an executive room and it was gorgeous. The bathroom was huge and the mini being complimentary was a lovely bonus. Would highly recommend.

Location great, and newly renovated made the hotel to be updated and totally brand new, the decoration is very homey atmosphere. The Bed is relaxing. the people very helpful and friendly. Overall it's a hotel i would recommend and revisit. No instructions on how to use the telephone - didn't call the front desk. Room cleaning was rather early - for late morning people. Bathroom cleaning was ok - it depends on who cleans it - need standardize. Reception should have a better management system.

The location. Well lets see.. Firstly, upon arriving in the room I stumbled upon the volume socket for the t.v which was hanging off the wall. Exposed wires were on display and were cut with copper showing, fairly lucky neither of us were not electrocuted. The heating element when turned off was 'construction site' noisy, making it impossible to sleep. The constant slamming of doors by housekeeping staff. Oh and I was lied to when checking in, having handed over my card and entering my pin number and being told that I'd paid for the room only to be told that in fact I hadn't paid when checking out. I really don't think I should of paid at all let alone £210 for 2 nights. I hope things improve because I've never complained about hotels before and this was my worst experience having been to loads nationally and internationally.

Great location , nice clean modern room. Room was quite chilly , heat output is too dry to have on anymore than an hour then it gets cold. Corridors to the room 3+ are chilly aswell. No wi fi at the time of my stay. Shower flooded the entire bathroom, cleaned up ASAP but done the same again the next morning. No maps available, evening meal was ok nothing great . It was nice & still finishing off bits & pieces I would go back but during winter would take an extra jumper!

Beautiful refurbished rooms with top-quality everything. Staff clearly very proud. Nice touches like free water and soft drinks in the room fridge. Very good location and quiet rooms, controllable (including turning it off) air con. Think these are literally teething problems in the main, so stuff like brand new fluffy towels shedding fluff everywhere, lack of decaf coffee sachets, not enough free toiletries for two people, lack of minibar glasses - I'm sure all this will get sorted out. Main gripe was that the bathrooms - which are glorious - are not heated. I spoke with the hotel about this and they are trying to find a solution.

We were very happy with the price, the location and the hotel itself. The rooms were newly remodeled and were bright and clean as was the entire hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was large with a view of a park across the street, and the hotel was only a block away from the subway station at Earls's Court. We have no complaints at all. We will definitely stay there again.

good location and clean The renovation of the hotel was not finished. One morning there was no cold water so we had to shower in very hot water. The breakfast can easily be improved. and one night all the power went off. The light in the hallway didnt work not even the emergency exit signs. We told the staff about the failures but nothing happent. After a few months they will probably be finished with all work and the hotel will work better

The decor was fabulous, great colour schemes wow! Love the mural on the wall in the bedroom which brings the outside area in to the room. Everything was very clean. The room was looked after very well by the cleaning staff. Love the fresh towels everyday. Great powerful roomy shower The bed was extremely hard. Hardly got any sleep . I feel that this is due to the matress sitting on a hard base. The bathroom needs a soap dish at the sink point. The teapot would not pour very well. The tea kept spilling on the table. The hot breakfast was nearly cold and the sausages looked and tasted of a poor quality. The room took a long time to heat up. Too many chairs around the lounge area, could possibly do with more sofas as they are more relaxing to sit in after a days sightseeing. The bar does not have alot of atmosphere but that is to be expected whilat refurbishment is taking place

Space in the room (executive) is very good, shower is perfect, room has a hairdryer and safe. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Free wifi! Due to renovations the TV didn't work for 2 of the 3 days we stayed there. The floor in my room was very slippery, think they used the wrong detergent? And they should really consider a bar!

The hotel was nearing the end of its renovation process and what a change since my last stay in June 2012! It now has a very spacious and plush bar and dining area. My room was very stylishly decorated and furnished with every facility I could need, including a super wall mounted tv. One of the new features was to have individually controlled air ducted heating in the room- a boon that the room quickly heated up to the temperature that suited you. And the bathroom was modern, spacious, with a wonderful luxury walk in shower. Everything was the the height of comfort and all the staff were friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble for them. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay There was still some noise and disruption from workmen in the hotel but all the renovation work should be finished soon. It was a very minor inconvenience.

We like hotel location, very close to Earl court tube station and in a walking distance from V&A museum, very calm, green and traditional in terms of arcitecture style part of the city around. There are a lot of small cafes and groceries around hotel to buy some food or beverage. Freshly reinnovated and trendy decorated rooms. In nov'12 hotel still is in the process of refurbishment, not all rooms are available, but only new rooms are in usage. Netherless There is no any disturbing noise. Helpful staff. We experienced some troubles with cold water in our room and staff came on the first request to check, after that we were proposed endothermic room Breakfast is not included into the price It's not easy to go to some rooms with big travel bags (on second floor) because lift doesn't stop there during refurbishment

The location is amazing, very close to the tube, live area, lots of breakfast places, restaurants, bars& pubs, staff were very friendly, the facilities in the room were very helpful, specially the iron and the complimentary coffee& tea set I was placed in a room in the basement which I had to walk a bit in narrow corridor which was kinda annoying with the bag, but I forgot about it once I discovered the great features of the hotel

Location is good (access to Earl's Court and Underground, in a quiet street, easy access to museums and Knightsbridge); and the refurbishment has worked wonders for the appearance of the rooms. The floorboards in my room squeaked when I walked on them - a throwback to the old days. It didn't worry me but it might have caused annoyance to the room below mine.

Everything was excellent. The only small problem was the pillows. They were flat and when you put your head on them. Other than that everything went well. They were doing improvements to the building and there was no sign out the front. When I commented they said ther was but it was tucked away.
