Barkston Garden Hotel

All the staff were helpfull, The hotel is clean and bright, The room was comfortable, very clean and bright, It also has a good bistro for beakfast, and a good resonable priced bar. and is ln such a good position, for the earls court, and the underground

The service was helpful and friendly. Someone quickly brought a heater to my room when the radiator failed to come on, and a taxi was called for me with speed and efficiency when I left.

The single room was very small. However, everything about it was comfortable, and the rate was good, so it's hardly a complaint.

Location - right next to earls court tube station. Cheap accomadation, reasonable priced bar.

No resturant, only 1 draught beer/larger and not alot of selection of drinks at the bar, rooms where dated. Working at a 3* hotel my self I found this pretty suprising and found some of the standards not upto the expected 3*

Very big room for a budget hotel and location brilliant - around the corner from Earls Court tube.

Our room was on the lower ground floor which wasn't that pleasant to get to but once in the room was fine. No view out of window as there were construction screens up outside as they are doing some renovation work on the lower ground floor (we were not disturbed by any noise though).

good Value for money

Staff were helpful, pleasant and very quick and efficient at dealing with any problems which arose. Location is excellent and within a 1 minute walk to the Underground. Hotel is very quiet.

We requested a twin room but were given a double even although we had phoned ahead the night before arrival to confirm that all was in order and were assured that a twin room had been booked.

the 3 bed room was very spacious,a lot of restaurants nearby

It was convenient to central London and also to Heathrow. It was not expensive and gave a good basic service.

Easy access from tube and good value for money.

Area

Booked two rooms, not given rooms on same floor given rooms 201 300, staff not interested. Room 201 window kept clattering all night, got no sleeo

Room was dirty, and very run down. The dust and filth down the side of the walls and the bed were not nice at all. Would not stay here again

Location

There were plumbering problems (low water pressure; toilet not working). We had to move to another room because the toilet had not been fixed after 12 hours. The hotel advertises wifi, but the wifi was only available in the main building in the rooms in the upper levels (e.g., we lost wifi access when we switched rooms). We stayed at the hotel for 2 days at the start of our trip and then again for another 3 days at the end of the trip. Of the 3 rooms we stayed in, the water pressure was great in one room, O.K. in another, and virtually nonexistant in the third room. There is no wifi service in the rooms in the lower levels or in the building accessed through the dining room.
