Barn Hotel  

Excellent hotel with easy access to Wembley Stadium.

Hotel room very cramped for two guests. Water pressure in shower almost non existence. Food selection in bar fairly poor. Remember not everyone wants to eat in the resturant.

Conveniently situated near Ruislip Station so easy to get to. Quietish location with plenty of car parking space & pretty garden. They serve a very nice afternoon tea. We attended a dinner there in the evening and the food & service were excellent.

The room was superb, very comfortable bed, amazing bathroom. Great staff, very helpful. Ideal location for the centre of London, train stations short distance away from the hotel.

Good food and service. I was offered an upgrade but declined, however the Deans lodge rooms are very nice (have stayed in one before). The other outside rooms are adequate and apparently are being upgraded in the near future

The peaceful atmosphere. Surroundings....website did not do the hotel justice.......after checking in and going to our room my 9 year old son stated......'This is brilliant Dad.....it's like going on an adventure!!!' At this point we were walking along a short path across a grassed area with large pond and shrubs to one of the detached buildings .......it was idealic.........much better than just walking through a maze of the usual hotel corridors that are normally encountered!! All staff at the hotel were very polite and friendly... The actual room was excellent.......great size tv ....Massive bed! Breakfast was excellent.......this is a hotel to suite all! O close to transport and local high Street facilities (5 minutes walking distance)

My only small dissappointment was that the hot water was not hot for me to have a proper shower (after my wife had already had a hot one) when we first arrived...the water turned cold during my sons shower... The water was however very hot the next morning! The decor in the ensuite was a little neglected..................

It had a warm welcome with friendly, helpful staff. We were offered an up grade on the room at a very reasonable price which made my birthday weekend very special. The public areas were decorated in keeping with the age of the building and service in these areas was excellent, all in all a weekend to remember.

It was just the job! It was exactly as described on the blog. It was the excellence of the staff that turned this hotel from adequately average into somewhere that you look to book again.

Easily accessible from m25. Friendly staff. Good location for my needs.

Some rooms would benefit from sound proofing, especially those on thr ground floor as guests on the first floor can be heard talking and moving about!

Staff very friendly and helpful; handy location three minutes walk from the tube; plenty of parking space.

First room we saw was very small for three people, but this was sorted out quickly and without fuss.

My wife and I had a very pleasant stay in summer would have been even better as the gardens looked really nice all the services we used were good and people were very friendly and helpful hope to use the hotel again

Very nice Lounge Area, good parking, nice gardens, decent tv in the room, good tea making facilities in the rooms, polite staff. Good price with Full English Breakfast Included. This Hotel is used more for Business users as I understand and is well suited for that. Location is very good

Rooms a bit small where we stayed, had to have curtains drawn most of the time which meant we had no outside view, (full length windows on the ground floor and other clients can walk by). Bit cold when we got into our rooms, and could not find no extra blankets. Bathroom fan did not work, the room gets quite stuffy as there is no other natural ventilation, very very poor sound proofing between rooms; I know it is an old building but this should of been dealt with in the refurb. Because of that I will not stay again there, lost quite a bit of sleep. For other functions and uses the place is fine. The more expensive rooms may well have better noise reducing partitions

Our room was lovely, cute and very clean! We loved our stay. We will definately stay again!!
