Barnham Broom Hotel, Golf & Spa  

The cleanliness of the hotel and spa facilities, staff very curtious and helpful. Our room was spotless, a very relaxing stay.

The food from the sports bar was a bit disappointing as a few of the dishes we chose were not of a high standard compared to the rest of the hotel.

Very tranquil, ideal for a quiet break

All was good, room looked better on the internet! Dirty brown stain on a bath towel so we had to share a towel which was not ideal!!

Convenient location - Breakfast in restaurant very acceptable

Rooms very cramped and in need of serious updating. Restaurant for evening meal expensive and chef obviously trying to impress and gain recognition presumably for more rosettes or michelin star. One starter exact copy of one we had in a michelin star restaurant in Yorkshire. All in all not suitable menu for a hotel of this quality. Golfers come for the golf not for fine dining and hpb next door want value for money - missing out on a large captive volume of diners who would not pay the price of the meals. Certainly have more than enough waiters to cope with more people.

Excellent hotel. Nice rooms, good leisure facilities. Friendly and helpful staff. Reasonable prices for food in the bar area and good quality.

Restaurant was a bit overpriced. Food not that much better than the bar area just better presentation. Staff were very attentive and helpful though.

I liked the gym, swimming pool and spa. Also, the bar food was excellent and really nice biscuits in the room.

I wanted to have a massage while I was there but they were fully booked even during mid-week. It's wise to book in advance.

Really lovely clean white bedding. Had a fantastic night's rest.

However pleasant stay was, one is aware that the carpets to the hotel are in need of a replacement

The pool was very nice

The buildings are rambling and rather tired looking, especially from the outside.

Room 47 was gloomy and cramped. Fortunately, we were moved.

This hotel was lovely, one of the best we have stayed at. The staff were very friendly, the room was very comfortable and clean, we enjoyed the pool, hot tub and sauna. Breakfast was very nice indeed and we need not have worried about our son who is a vegetarian, anything you wanted was cooked to order, so you can still pick out non meat items, plus the continental spread, fruits and cereals etc. could not fault it. We ate in the sports bar, the food there also was very good, a little on the pricey side, but you are paying for the quality.
