Warm welcome, delightful staff, excellent room.
Peace and quiet - again PETS NOT ALLOWED. Staff first class - food first class - in fact first class all round.
Nothing to put in this column.
Beautiful room, comfy bed, excellent food, countryside walks.A real treat.
Everything, location, food, accommodation. Everything was just perfect.
Breakfast was good.
Nothing comes to mind.
Cleanliness and modern facilities in excellent condition. Fine location for exploring South Shropshire and Mid Wales.
Nothing to dislike
The warm welcome from Phil and Debra ushers the visitor into an experience of comfort and care which is second to none. The rooms are beautifully appointed with magnificent views. Food is extremely well made and delicious. Well stocked bar. Our second visit and we wll be back.
top hotel very good value we would consider it should have 5 stars*****
Clean friendly with excellent food
Another excellent overnight stay - hope to make it a couple of days next time. As the Michelin guides used to say "worth a detour"!
Spotlessly clean from top to bottom ! The owner was friendly and helpful as was all staff we met. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this establishment to anyone.
Very friendly family run hotel. Nothing too much trouble including earlier than usual breakfast. Fantastic food in restaurant.
you'd have to be really picky to find fault to be honest.
Family participation in running excellent establishment. Hospitality Room Food Beautiful borders location
We were a party of 9 staying for a 50th birthday celebration so occupied all of the rooms at the inn. The accommodation was excellent - the rooms were very clean and comfortable and looked recently refurbished (and to a high standard). Our meal at the Mill restaurant was delicious and the service very good. Breakfast the following morning was of an equally high standard. Our hosts were very accommodating and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the inn and look forward to a return visit at some point.
I like everything about this establishment. The accommodation is first-class, with large, modern spacious rooms, and beautiful bathrooms with everything we could wish for. Dinner is excellent in comfortable and spacious surroundings, and breakfast was everything we could have expected. There are opportunities to have leisurely strolls after dinner - which is not the case with every location. I acknowledge that there is usually a steady turnover of 'waiting' staff in the industry, but on our visits, we have been impressed by the quality of the restaurant staff (perhaps of course, they've just been lucky).
I always think that people who have no 'downside' to their comments are being just too accepting - but I honestly can't think of anything negative to say.
Excellent breakfast. Very clean and well appointed rooms.
The fish pie
Everything was just as we would have wished for. Staff friendly, very good food, excellent facilities in room and bathroom. Beautiful area.
A wonderful find spotlessly clean food was excellent shame we only had night there beer good too!
My only slight criticism was there was a little roll together in the mattress on the bed.
Room was spotless, everything you could need had been considered. Rooms were very quiet, thought we were the only guests until we got to breakfast!!! Breakfast was spot on, local produce.
Pretty much everything was great, as often happens Booking.com did not pass on the request for a double rather than twin room, but as soon as we mentioned this the change was made whilst we had a great dinner in the restaurant, there was no fuss & the staff seemed genuinely concerned to ensure we were happy during our stay
Ideally either finish breakfast (particularly on a Sunday) at 10.30 rather than 9.30 or perhaps offer a continental or tray breakfast in the room as an option (which I would have paid £5 extra per tray if offered)
We liked the quiet location, beautiful and comfortable rooms, excellent food, beers and wines and the very friendly welcome. This is a great place to stay.
Beautiful room overlooking the garden. Excellent food. Friendly, helpful staff. Cleanliness,. Good atmosphere. Beautiful countryside visible from breakfast room,
Lovely greating from owners mother who was minding the shop.Joined us after we had checked in with stories. Breakfast included in the price had an extensive menu and was lovely set you up for the day. Evening menu extensive and served beautifully.
The wi-fi was a pain it worked for short periods when in your room. Wouldn't work in the rest of the building. Bit of a problem when you need to be in contact for an in pending disaster with 12 year old not with us. TV not very good picture only staid with the 4 main channels could do with an idiots guide for accessing other channels available.
