Barons Court Hotel142 Goldthorn Hill, WV2 3JE Wolverhampton (Show map) Excellent, Score from 200 reviews“What a little gem of a hotel, close enough to the city to get there easily but far enough away to be quiet. I took my dog with me and was made very welcome with a ground floor room with my own exit to the car park. I will definitely stay here again, it's incredible value for money ”

Having never visited Wolverhampton before I relied on the reviews on this website when I looked for a hotel for a short theatre break. I was not disappointed, it is a lovely little hotel and perfectly placed for the city centre and other local attractions. As everyone else has said the manager, Keith, is very helpful and made us so welcome. We will definitely be returning!

The hotel had all of the charm, comfort and friendliness that we had hoped for on our first visit to the uk. Keith, the manager, could not have been more accommodating. The hotel, itself, was picturesque with extremely comfortable rooms. We had the best night's sleep that we had had in ages. Breakfast was equally amazing. We would recommend Barons Court Hotel to anyone travelling to that area, and we hope to stay there again on our next holiday, too.

Dear sir, the hotel atmosphere was relaxing, and the attention of customer service by the manager Keith was the best I have experianced, and totally unepected. We have already booked again as the other hotels in birmingham could not cmpete at such a genuine friendly level. I am sure that Keith is going beyond what is expected in his work, and its his hard work, and commitment that makes the hotel so impressive, and its genuine service, and smiles, the staff also show they emjoy their work, and appreciate being there etc No cmplaints :-)

It was easy to find Service wasn't great, I booked a twin, a double and a single and when we checked in the manager said he only had 2 doubles and that some of the party would have to top n tail if they wished to sleep in a bed.

We came down for the weekend to go to the Wolves match and were pleasantly surprised by this hotel. Quite a quirky hotel with some unusual ornaments dotted about. It was very comfortable, convenient for travelling into town and we will certainly stay there again. The breakfast was delicious, freshly cooked and substantial. The owner even kindly allowed us to leave our car in the hotel car park while we attended the match and advised us on buses and taxis which was very helpful. Thoroughly recommended. Can't really think of anything we didn't like except maybe that next time we would prefer to be in a back room as the traffic on Goldthorn Hill is rather noisy.

An Amazing 'Arts & Crafts' buidling with bags of character on the ground floor. Less so upstairs as it has been altered a lot. The lounge was a spectacular 'Y' shaped room and the dining room had a massive floor to ceiling window. Great for architecture addicts like me! Keith was friendly and served a great breakfast which was excellent value for money. Room was clean, comfy bed, excellent bathroom and lovely TV! Tea & coffee in room too. All we needed was there! Good car park too.

Our room was located at the back of the hotel, and therefore not affected by traffic noise on the main road. This was good value for money. Adequate room with en-suite. Good breakfast. This property dates from early 1900's-- built as a private house, subsequently extended. Impossible to soundproof a structure like this, to match modern day (hotel) standards
