the front of hotel looks better than inside

the room was dirty the curtains were fallin off, noisy rooms could hear all the floor boards above, bed was dirty we had a room right next to a quarry lorries all night.. and when was checking out no one was at reception to have key off you very poor room nothink like the pics.....

Time spent at the hotel was very relaxing and comfortable. The staff in all areas were polite and professional in their manner towards guests. The breakfasts were very good, and must say that if you take advantage of their evening meal in the restaurant you will be more than satisfied with whatever you order. To say the least I would definately recommend their hotel menu which is full of flavour, varied and resonably priced to fit anyone's budget

did not enjoy my stay at all room very dated and in poor condition not sure what the food was like over my 2 day stay from seeing the room i was in decided not to eat at the hotel access to wifi was very poor

The canal walk at the back of hotel was great and value for money was good for the hotel type and location.

The restaurant was quite expensive.

At only £39 I wasn't expecting much, but the receptionist on arrival was friendly enough and the basic standard of the rooms exceptable.

Our room was non-smoking but only 2 doors away from the smoking rooms, this may have been the cause of the stale smoke smell in our room, however when leaving I mentioned this to the receptionist who told me that people tend to have a "cheeky fag" out of the window and there was nothing they could do about it! Maybe airfreshner should be used????

The floor boards in the room above us were very creaky

The staff were very good and very friendly. Rooms were excellent. Everywhere very clean.

The halls leading to rooms need a lik of paint, quite dirty n nit the best first impression on way to room! The executive room was lovely but the other rooms below rating aren't so nice so could also do with a face lift

very noisy there was a party and people shouting and making lots of noise middle of night and banging on doors for fun

Everything, my wife & I have used this hotel before & I'm sure we will use it again.

There wasn't anything we didn't like.

Disappointed that the exercise area was not available for a cardio work out.

Bed was decent but not super comfy. TV reception was poor. Phones were out over a 3 night stay.

The bed was horrific. As soon as you sat on the bed you sunk into it, the pillows were hard, the bed was stiff, no springs. I had the worst sleep ever at that hotel, the bed was very uncomfortable. The duvet was flat. The guests next door to us where playing the television and music loudly at 2:00am when I specified a quiet room. I would not recommend.

everything we could have wanted and more, the staff, the ambiance, the food, exceeded our expectations.

The staffing was excellent

The TV was poor the phone wasn't working to call for room serve. The quality of room wasn't good, didn't get any wifi service I complain about and was told try BT open sevice. That still dosn't work.

Room tired, mould in shower, mould on windows, needs a deep clean. Worst of all was that the Hotel has very thin walls! You can hear everything. You don't need your television, you can clearly hear their's. You can hear everything that your neighbour says and gets up to! I was woken up and had to suffer the screams of a woman for at least 1 hour during the night and found it very difficult to sleep. You could even hear the snooring next door, as if they were in the room. I will not use this Hotel again!

Nice staff, nice room, good shower very good kitchen

Bit close to the road, had a heating unit right next to my bed which made quiet alot of noise even though it was switched off

Large bathroom, free parking, excellent welcome, friendly approachable staff. The gentleman whom checked me in and out, if he is not a manager he should be, he went above and beyond to ensure I felt welcome as standard and then even helped me out of a mess the following morning with a little car trouble. As a frequent traveller I have to say this level of service and attention was more than I've had from any other hotel , anywhere in the world!!!! Staff make a hotel, ive heard this many times but until my visit here I hadnt understood it. I cant thank the gentleman enough im only sortry I didnt get his name to mention here.
