hotel absolutely fine. had A problem with the view of A mountainous landfill from the bedroom window and the fact that there was no cold white wine available for the evening meal (with such an extensive wine list we found it A little strange) otherwise thank you.

The location for us was perfect as we were attending a family wedding. The two night package price was excelent value for money. The evening meal was very good.

Hotel rooms and corridors are very "tired" looking. Our room was very cold and we had to ask twice for the heating to be sorted out. There was no proper ventilation in the en suite.

The staff were very helpfull and friendly and overall was not unpleasant stayimg here.The food was very good however.

Sadly we were disappointed as we had held our wedding reception here 18 years before and wanted a trip down memory lane.We booked a table in the restaraunt and the staff seemed quite surprised by this and the sevice was very slow.The decor seemed very clinical compared to the stunning beams that had once exhisted .It seemed to have lost all character which was quite sad.

Appalling tv reception. Unattractive dining room and poor food - with the exception of breakfast which was average.

We stay there often and the staff are always very friendly and helpful. We eat in the bar from restaurant menu and the food is excellent. We have breakfast in our room and it is always as expected and arrives on time. What more can we ask for.

Handrails provided at the main entrance steps are unsatisfactory for slightly handicapped people although assistance for wheelchair users is offered a single handrail in the centre of steps would solve the problem

The food was excellent,& the resteraunt staff, both at dinner & breakfast were very good

Our mattress on our bed was old & you could feel the springs, had a very uncomfortable night. We told the person on reception & he said they would put a new mattress on. But when we checked they had just turned the mattress over & put a matress cover.

I found the staff to be very friendly and welcoming. The room was very modern and comfortable. The restaurant was very nicely decorated and the food excellent. We were on a half board basis and found this to be excellent value for money. At dinner we could choose 3 courses from the normal menu. Most of the choices were included, with just a couple of items on each course with a small supplement to pay. Breakfast was also very good with a good choice. I would recommend this hotel.

The bar prices were a little expensive. The location didn't seem to be the best, but as we only stayed for one night en route home from a visit to London it didn't really bother us. There may well have been much more in the vicinity, but we didn't have much time to explore.

Staff friendly but the hotel is looking very tired even though we were updated to a superior room.

The smell from the refuse site next door is terrible!

I have stayed at Menzies Barons Court several times with my husband and we have never had a bad stay. Staff are always willing to help and offer any assistant required.
