Good reception by friendly staff. Room was small but adequate, comfortable and clean. A nice quiet location with easy access to main roads and Crawley town and 10 minutes from Gatwick Airport. I enjoyed my stay at the Hotel and will probably stay again in early 2010. |

the coffee yer it was all old, the bed was uncomfortable, We had noisey people above us who were walking around on the sqeeky floor boards from 6am consistantly and woke us up. Wasnt worth £50 a night could have had a better room in a travel lodge. Is outdated. Also we were opposite a noisey breakfast room. |

Comfy room * polite staff * nice breakfast * great value *Peaceful * Clean * Good pub with cheap food just a few yards away ! Much better than a lot of the shabby airport hotels. Free parking not £ 10 extra like the Gatwick hotels. Have stayed twice. Both rooms very acceptable. No detrimental comments at all. |

When we were not happy about the room, we were offered a good comfortable room for the same price. The family room next to the reception is ugly and far too small to stay with a family. It is noisy. That room does not resemble at all what is being shown in the website of the hotel. |

Quiet and clean, polite and helpful staff, good service. Breakfast was OK. OK OK OK Bathroom was very small - just about OK for me but would have been a problem for big people.Should have had bedside lamps. |

the staff were all very friendly and extrememly hepfull. Breakfast not included in the price is also a good idea. Their idea of hot water was not mine or my wife's. I would class it as warm at the most. |

The staff were friendly and the hotel was security-conscious.The room was well equipped in terms of facilities. There was dried blood on my duvet, I do not think the bed had been changed. After spending one night there, I came away covered in insect bites which occurred during the night. |

We took a chance and it turned out to be a really good one! Barrington Lodge is a lovely place for those seeking out-of-city-living for a relaxing stay. It feels like being in the middle of nowhere even though there are lots of true Englishmen living in the village and the hotel is surrounded by houses. There is no restaurant but the hotel has room delivering from a menu which we really recommend! Otherwise it's next door neighbour is an English pub and it's walking distance into the centre of the village (or maybe city is more correct as it has lots of inhabitants and lots of modern shopping facilities, restaurants etc.). The rooms are small but outstanding comfortable with a true English village-feeling. Not at all for those seeking party places, but for those seeking romantic weekends or wants to stay over a night close to the airport of Gatwick. The receptionist was formidable! The shower was a bit broken, and it would have been nice to have more choices from the dining menu (and/or at least a breakfast room), but apart from that - nothing bad was remarkable. |

parking on site.the hotel rooms were comfortable, but mind your head if you get the room in the roof, as we did, There was no hot water during the afternoon, when i complained, i was told, "well the shower will be hot" as it is electric! but they did eventually turn the hot water heater on,also there was very poor reception for the Tv. |

The look and feel of the building was very clean and modern. The first impression of the room was a good impression. The walls were incredible thin, the person in the next room to us woke up at 5:30am and we could hear his every move until he left at 7:30am. The rooms are a little on the small side too. Difficult to open the door to the ensuite unless you were standing on the bed... |

I liked the room. Myself and my other half thought it was very clean and there was no noise from any of the other rooms, unlike some hotels. We will recommend you to friends and use you again ourselves. It is also alot cheaper than other hotels in the Crawley area and your staff were very friendly. |

nice big room and very clean and luxurious. the double room is tiny so we had to pay for a bigger room. We did get a discount though. There is no lift and no-one to help carry luggage so we really struggled to get to the 3rd floor! It was much further from Gatwick than advertised on the website. |

Barrington Lodge was excellent value for money, I chose it over the Hilton due to the great reviews it had on 'tripadvisor' (more positive than the Hilton) The room was lovely & the bed was super comfy. Easy stroll to Crawley town for food/drink/shopping. Make sure you have a sat-nav or a good map as tucked away at the rear of a neighbourhood. We stayed in a 'standard' room which was lovely but quite 'compact' |

Pleasant helpful Staff. Close to Crawley and Gatwick. Well appointed room. An Airport and Station Shuttle would make it moreconvenient as an "Airport" Hotel. |
