Great value for money. Good location, easy to get around. Included breakfast made an easy start to the day. Staff very friendly and helpful.
Wi-fi access a bit variable.
noisy . Small rooms
Room was a little small but we only slept there. It was clean staff were friendly and breakfast was good. 2 mins from Paddington station.
It was so easy to take the Heathrow Express to Paddington and then walk three small blocks. Nice restaurants and pubs very nearby. Felt at home.
Friendly, helpful staff, attentive to our needs. Easy to find. Plenty of eateries nearby.
Pretry pricey, but so is every other place in London.
Very helpful & friendly people.Excellent budget accomodation close to transport & walking distance to Oxford St.etc. There are many pubs & restaurants within a few blocks. Also included was an English breakfast.
no real downside during my stay.
The staff very good and helpfull
Breakfast not diverse but sufficient
The location and the price can't beat it.
Cups in room and at Breakfast, need to watch them as both in room could have been cleaner and plug sockets need to be moved to allow kettle to be used rather than placing it on the floor
- The staff was extremely helpful & caring - Nice shower - Good location - Breakfast included
- Could not access certain websites through the wifi due to safeguards and I could not check my work stuff
The wifi did not always work
It was easy for us to navigate to all the London sights we had had on our to-do list from this great location. Staff were helpful and friendly.
Would have appreciated a more comfortable mattress.
Nice staff, good English breakfast
They do Not have a lift, we took the budget room which was on the 4th floor. The stairs were very narrow to carry the cases. For us as seniors it was difficult.
Wifi signal could be stronger
Brilliant location with easy access to central London. Plenty options for eating out.Very friendly welcome and advice given re. locations, travel etc. Room clean and good breakfast supplied.
Slight repairs needed.eg.towel rails, floor tiles a little loose.
Staff , breckfast , location, room
Location was good, between two Underground stations. A/C in our room was excellent.
Rooms, bathrooms, beds all too small. Inadequate supply of towels. If they are going to provide liquid soap, provide WASHCLOTHES!
Family run hotel, friendly, good value and included an English breakfast.
Shower room too small for the size of the family room.
It is very close to Paddington Station so easy into and out of London.
It was so grimy that you wouldn't want to take your shoes off. The rain leaked right onto the bed and the floor in two spots. The only window went into a closed in box wth no exit. If there was a fire in the hallway, you would die.
Clean, close to Paddington,
street outside can be a bit noisy at times so you needed to close window which made room a bit stuffy. However a fan was provided so OK. Breakfast too late prefer from 7.30am
Cental location, close to good eating and transport, good breakfast and well established proprietor always willing to help. Remember, Barry House is great for those on a budget, clean and cheery.
Bobbi was beyond helpful with everything. Definitely took care of us young inexperienced travellerS.
Needed a fan or airconditioner for air circulation as this summer was hot!
Bobby & his family were very friendly. Breakfast was good.
It was very warm in London during our stay. The room was very warm and only offered a tower fan which just isnt enough. The room was very tight & not moden. Could benefit from a ceiling fan. TV didnt get reception & the internet kept goig down. Bathroom was tiny & the shower way too tight. My cost was £625/$1200 for 4 nights. To me the value was more like £160/$200 for the stay. Pass on this hotel.
The service at breakfast was very good.
The price but it was during Wimbledon week.
For the purpose of the trip the room was very good with enough space.
The breakfast could have some fruit.
The staff were extremely helpful and lovely. Location fantastic, Hyde Park & trains.
The bed mattress needs an up grade.
