Less than 400 yards from Hyde Park and from Paddington Station, Barry House offers free Wi-Fi and 3-star guest accommodation in comfortable rooms with private bathrooms, TVs, telephones and tea/coffee. On the Hyde Park estate, just a 3 minute walk from the famous park, this Victorian townhouse was originally built in 1839. Today, Barry House has been rated as 3-star guest accommodation by VisitBritain, the tourist board of the United Kingdom. The building backs on to Bathurst Mews, home of the Hyde Park Stables, which offer horseback riding and riding lessons in the park. The shops of Oxford Street are less than a mile away and many of London's sights, attractions and museums are also within easy walking distance. A full English breakfast is served each morning. Barry House is owned and run by the Bhasin family, who pride themselves on offering a warm, friendly welcome and comfortable, clean accommodation at great-value rates. Hotel Rooms: 15

The location was convenient to Paddington, Lancaster Gate and Hyde Park so getting around was quick and easy. The hotel is on a relatively low traffic street. We slept on the back side overlooking the mews with the windows open. Which is amazing because i'm a very light sleeper. The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was full english which very few hotels in london do anymore. Or if they do provide it's expensive. Also liked that problems we had were dealt with pleasantly, quickly and effectively, eg: we could not get wifi in our room so the manager put an extension in our room which gave us full access. The hotel has some shared showers and baths. This means extra hall noise as people leave their room to use these facilities. The owner assured us these shared rooms on our floor were down te hall so we were a bit disappointed to find a shower next to our room and a toilet across the whole. The city with the open window overlooking the mews didn't wake us up but hall noise from the bathroom and shower did.

La ubicacion es excelente, a 2 cuadras de la estacion de metro Paddington.Muy seguro. La habitacion es pequeña y no tiene ascensor.Pero es muy limpia,solo para bañarse y dormir esta perfecto!

Die Lage war sehr gut- man war in Null Komma Nix überall! Das Personal war freundlich und bemüht. Die Sauberkeit des Zimmers ließ etwas zu wünschen übrig. Ferner war das Haus recht hellhörig, d.h. man ist des Nachts schon mal wach geworden, wenn andere nach Hause kamen.

Hotel with a great location, just some minutes away from Paddington Railwaystation. Reasonable prices hotel with the so often see mixture of charm and worn, it gets personal in some strange way. very narrow stairs which can be inconvenient for elderly or those with a lot of luggage.

La propreté de l'hôtel ; sa situation ; son calme ; l'accueil et la gentillesse du personnel pour donner tous les renseignements nécéssaires et demandés . Dommage que le petit déjeuner ne soit servi que sur une plage horaire d'une heure , et qu'il ne soit pas en libre-service. La quantité de "beans "dans l'assiette est très modeste...

Sehr kompetente und freundliche Mitarbeiter die einem gerne bei jeder Frage und Bitte weitergeholfen haben. Nähe zum Hydepark und zu U-Bahnstation Paddington. Frühstück war nur von 08.00 - 09.00 Uhr, daher öfter "Stau" vor dem Speiseraum und längere Wartezeiten.Das Bad ist sehr klein und die Räume sind alle sehr hellhörig.

It had a lift. The room was a larger than a lot of London hotels I've visted. Location was good to access Paddington Station. There was no remote for the tv and it was not hooked up properly. It took some time to have it adjusted for viewing. Tv itself was on a very high level, not comfortable to watch. Paint was peeling off of the ceiling in the bathroom. Walls around the tub looked like they had been repaired.

Excellent location appeared from website to be oldy-worlde b&b Staff were unfriendly and unhelpful, although son was helpful with suitcase on departure. No lift and difficulty getting bags to third floor with narrowing staircase. No help. Room facilities and furnishings were very old and some were stained, including bedding. Beds and pillows were lumpy. En-suite bathroom was moldy and tiny so everything got wet. Very noisy at night because window had to be kept open. No fan or airconditioner and very warm on third floor. Definitely not recommended.

Närheten till city. Att jag inte själv fick gå och ta det jag ville ha till frukost utan det serverades vid bordet. Sedan kan man undra hur fotografen kan få rummet att se så stort ut, två resväskor på högkant var vad man fick plats med i ett trebäddsrum.

Het is een vriendelijk familie hotel in een oud pand. Het personeel is erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam. De badkamer was erg klein maar de bedden waren prima. De locatie is erg centraal en daarom een aanrader voor een stedentrip/ weekendje weg.
