The location was excellent, very rural but only a short distance from Exeter and a good centre for many tourist attractions. We had a lovely spacious room, the atmosphere was very friendly and the food was superb. |

Surprisingly good food, slightly dated decor suits the hotel's character; our room was well equipped, comfortable and charming. |

Nice country hotel, friendly, pleasant and helpful staff and good food. The Television was quite antiquated. It was quite hard to get hold of the staff the next morning. Also, I think the price is too expensive. |

the breakfast was excellent we did not sign anything to say we were there, should there have been a fire. The room smelt of smoke and so they must have allowed smoking hence an ash tray. we could not have anything to eat when we arrived as apparently we hadn't booked dinner. I am not sure that was clear on the booking infoprmation |
