Beautiful old hotel, lovely staff and delicious food. Wish I lived nearer so I could vist resturant more often with husband ! Travelling alone on business and felt well looked after. Many thanks Nothing really, perhaps up date shower |

Comfortable hotel close to Exeter and all city facilities. Relaxed and welcoming. Exellent food,-one of the best breakfasts. Evening meal leisurely served and enjoyed. |

The talented chef produced some excellent dishes.The location is off the beaten track and generally relaxing.The female staff provided friendly and effecient service. The standard of the twin room was very poor.First impression was the musty smell.The ventilation in the bathroom was inadequate and needed attention.The beds were a disgrace and in need of immediate replacement.The room was not value for money. |

The location was excellent, very rural but only a short distance from Exeter and a good centre for many tourist attractions. We had a lovely spacious room, the atmosphere was very friendly and the food was superb. |

Surprisingly good food, slightly dated decor suits the hotel's character; our room was well equipped, comfortable and charming. |

Nice country hotel, friendly, pleasant and helpful staff and good food. The Television was quite antiquated. It was quite hard to get hold of the staff the next morning. Also, I think the price is too expensive. |

Das Frühstück war nicht zu toppen, sowohl in Qualtität als auch in Quantität. Sehr reche Auswahl und Extra-Wünsche würden berücksichtigt. Auch das Abendessen war sehr gut, wenn auch etwas hochpreisiger. Der Preis war sehr hoch, dafür, dass das Hotel mitten auf dem Land lag und die Ausstattung von Zimmer und Bad schon etwas älter waren. Aber es war reichlich Platz. |
