We thought the hotel was clean, comfortable and great value. Breakfast was absolutely lovely and the hosts were lovely people
We liked everything about this place
Excellent location. Stayed one night. Exceptional service from the owners who directed us to a lovely place to eat. Comfortable and quiet. Really enjoyed our stay and the late breakfast was a bonus!!
Hotel was in a great location for us and was nice that it had parking. Breakfast was delicious although I felt like we were being watched cos our toddler (who is very good) was up and down.
Greeted by a rude gentleman. Told I'd booked the wrong size room for our family and room wouldn't fit a travel cot. We are a family of 4 - inc a baby so I booked a family room for 3 as we have a travel cot. Room was small but cot fitted. Beds rock hard. My whole body ached they were so uncomfortable. Family room on first floor and no lift!
good localisation - near the sea, however not excelent 40 mintutes to city centre, breakfast was big.
after 2-3 days we had dust everywhere, especially in the bathroom (hotel staff just provide new towels, tea, coffee and sugar and wash glasses, they do not clean the room), room decor was ugly (linkage of red, white and brown) room facilities were old, at night we can heared noises on a corridor and people in the room near us.
Room was exceptionally clean and tidy. staff were friendly. Breakfast was nice.
Could do with a lift to get to the higher floors.
Family room was a really good size for 5, really clean and a great night's sleep. Location was perfect, staff very friendly and helpful.
Great location with tram stop at the end ov the street. Not too far away but not to close either.staff friendly and helpful.
Nearby hotel entertainment began at 10pm n didn't stop until 12am so no chance ov early night after a busy day
Hotel location was excellent, breakfast was lovely, as well as the lady who served it . Rooms were nicely decorated and modern looking though compact .
The rude manner in which the owner switched the television off in the bar at midnight on the Saturday night, after having glared at everyone who was still there for having the audacity to be on holiday enjoying a drink in his bar ! Yes everyone understands that he works long hours but surely this comes with the territory of being a hotel owner, he was far too arrogant and rude taking that stance.Usually there are around 15 / 20 of us in our annual trip to blackpool and I can guarantee that we wont be returning there.
Friendly staff, Great breakfast, the kids loved being able to eat everything they fancied and they made the most of it. Family room was fab kids in interconnecting room couldn't be better and they had their own TV which meant they could watch cbeebies if they woke early.
The beds were so hard and uncomfortable, both my partner and I were shattered after not getting hardly any sleep for two nights, it's a real shame as it was the only bad thing about the hotel everything else was fab. But after walking back and forth to the tower etc we really needed that sleep.
Staff welcoming & friendly, room was ideal, breakfast was perfect had a lot to choose from.. Which kids loved!!! Overall fantastic, in we are looking forward to returning next year
Only thing was shower not powerful, had to wash our wee girls hair when at swimming
Book the hotel for my parents. They loved it and the staff were extremely friendly and kind. They would definately stay at the same place
Excellent hotel good value for money rooms nice and clean , comfy beds breakfast was great good choice to
The family room was great as it was 2 seperate rooms with an interconnecting door. Clean and modern rooms good choice of drinks and snacks. Breakfast was great with good choice and also fresh fruit and yogurt available. Owners were helpful and friendly and anything u needed was no trouble at all.
The only problem I had was the bed was not very comfortable the springs dug into me but my husband thought the opposite he had a great sleep.
Room too small. The price quoted by booking.com was £100 but the hotel had already charged £103 to my credit card before we arrived !
Location and parking where good, very clean and nice breakfast
Shower took a while to heat up
Everything about the Barton is lovely. Have stayed there on around 8 occasions as just a couple and with friends. Nothing is too much trouble for Paul and Babs. The hotel is spotless, lovely bar and excellent breakfast. Thank you again for another fab short break.
Staff were very friendly and accommodating. They went out their way to make my 3yr old and 4yr old kids feel very welcome. Couldn't fault anything during my 1 night stay and the breakfast was excellent with loads to choose from
Mattress was a bit hard for my liking but I'm fussy that way :-)
Clean and friendly
I think the Sasauges at breakfast were fried in chip oil so greasy for a breakfast meal
We stayed in the Barton hotel as a late booking midweek just for one night and so glad we did spacious room, courteous staff couldn't do enough to please their guests, comfy bed, good location and fantastic breakfast will definitely being taking a longer break here again
A lovely room, very clean and nicely decorated. Staff where friendly and very helpful. Blackpool Tower and the Pleasure Beach where short walk away, about 30 minutes tops, though we ended up using the Trams which has a stop close to the Hotel.
The shower leaked a little. That is really all I can fault them with.
It was a lovely stay, cant fault anything
breakfast was faultless and room was nice and clean a good little holtel with free on property car park,, Oo and please visit the Taj Mahal restaurant absolutely delicious
Only thing that let this place down was the hard mattress
Breakfast was great. Staff really friendly and helpful. Great location. Great value for money.
Our room was a bit warm one night, even with window open. However, this was no fault of anybody. Just the unusually warm weather that was being experienced and didn't lessen our enjoyment of staying here.
Great staff , great breakfast , spotless
