This is not the first time we have stayed at Barton Grange, from entering the main door and until you leave the whole experience is most enjoyable. The service, staff and food in the walled garden is all excellent, and living around London where we are spoilt for chose, the menu service etc knock the socks off the vast majority of eating places around here. If you are ever passing please drop in and see for yourself why we will be back time after time. All I would say is that more attention to detail in the Spar area would be a great advantage.

Staff on arrival very helpful. Room was equipped for everything you'd need. Breakfast in bed was lovely as was the pool and sauna. The jacuzzi wasn't working which was disappointing/ Room was a bit hot but we requested a fan and one was brought up to our room within minutes. Breakfast in bed cost an extra £3 per person just because it was eaten in the room instead of the dining area which i wasn't too impressed about!

Very clean and comfortable. Good location for Preston. Enjoyed relaxing in the the pool and sauna. The restaurant was rather expensive to justify more than 1 visit during our stay but the food was delicious and very well presented.

Barton hotel provides great value for money accommodation manned by extremely pleasant staff. They made our stay a very relaxed and pampered experience through out the weekend. A special mention must be made about the quality of the food. The chef made simple foods taste fabulous. Even the breakfast was different in a nice way. This in my opinion is catering at it's best. If you don't believe me; try it for yourself. I certainly will be going back as soon as time permits.

The staff were all welcoming, friendly and could not do enough to make our stay comfortable. The room was spacious but warm. The restaurant for the evening meal had a good choice and the food was excellent. Service again was spot on. Breakfast good choice and well served, more tea and toast if required. Didn't try the pool, but the garden centre well worth a visit. Will definitely stay again, and have recommended to friends.

The room was large as was the bed. There was a settee, tea and coffee making (small cartons of fresh milk were in a fridge on the first floor if you don't like the long life milk, and also ice cubes). All the staff were friendly, helpful and efficient. The breakfast was very good with a wide choice and we enjoyed dinner in the the Walled Garden restaurant. The hotel was easy to find and had plenty of parking space.

It was a lovely relaxing break, in a lovely room that was clean, comfy with the comfortiest bed and fluffy pillows. I have stayed before but this time is stayed in the Annex room, which is away from the main hotel but still has the same quailty of rooms. I will stay here again for sure, and would recommend this hotel to anyone. There is nothing I didnt like about this hotel.

Very friendly staff at reception . Room was lovely and away from hustle of main hotel in the annex. . Lovely atmosphere in the bar. Excellent service in the restaurant . great food . The breakfast was too expensive . £12:50 each on top of normal room charge. For those of us who only require some toast and cereal its a little excessive ! The spa facilities were poor . It was tiny changing area.with one shower. There was minimal gym equipment and the pool was freezing - Jacuzzi should also be warm and relaxing but was ice cold too. There was also no steam room

Don't have anything bad to say really. Didn't use the leisure services much as had quite a late arrival so can't comment on them. Would have been nice to have pastries and croissants as choices for breakfast, they only did full english, toast, cereal and fruit.
