Beautiful improvements to rooms. Breakfast was lovely. Good sausages.

It was lovely that my room was upgraded but if i had to pay extra for that i wouldnt be impressed as its just an improvement to the hotel.

Bedrooms and public areas are decorated to a high standard and extremely comfortable. Restaurant (The Walled Garden) has excellent menu & very popular - the hotel staff contacted me a couple of days prior to our stay to offer to book a table as it would be busy. Swimming pool & sauna with towels etc provided & pleasant changing facilities. A family run business with good reputation locally.

Only one small moan - the bar area was reserved for a private function so we were unable to drink there after 6pm. As we had table booked in the restaurant it wasn't a problem but would have been had we not done so.

Everything ,, the food was fabulous, we only stayed one night but were made to feel very welcome .

I have stayed at Barton Grange 4 times over the past 2 years, when my company have held award nights, or Christmas parties. I have enjoyed every single stay, it is a wonderful hotel with amazing staff. The rooms are extremely spacious, amazingly well equipped. with hair-dryer, iron, mini bar, TV, tea and coffee making facilities they even supply shoe cleaning kit, needle and tread and shower caps. This sort of detail is not found often in hotels theses days. The beds are extremely comfy and the pillows are so so soft. I have always had a brilliant nights sleep here and I cannot fault this hotel.

There is absolutely nothing I do not like about this Hotel.

The young girl at reception was excellent. Nothing was too much trouble.

Excellent staff who were very accommodating and patient with our young toddler. Great food served in the walled garden restaurant where we ate dinner and absolutely gorgeous pool. Accommodation was decent size comfortably furnished and tastefully decorated. Would highly recommend this hotel.

Our room overlooked the large walled garden and we would have enjoyed a walk around this however we were told there was access allowed and no explanation offered as to why this was which was disappointing.

Its location - 10minutes from the m6, either north or southbound. the friendly and effiencent staff, both at reception and in the walled garden restaurant. the clean and comfortable room.

Above all the quality of the staff. At al levels including the manager they are friendly, professional and willing to put themselves out for the customer. Food is excellent and accomoodation is of a very high standard.

Had rooms in annex/garden room - spacious and spotless! Grandson wanted to stay for '6 days' - I wish we could have!

I really did like the room and found it nice and clean, and comfortable I think for £78 for one night was expensive. Maybe if breakfast had been included it would have been better, The staff are very hospitalable and helpful, Tanya who organised the wedding party I was with could not have been more helpful. We stayed one night at the Barton Grange Hotel as a way of breaking up a long m6 drive to Scotland. We were very pleased with our choice. All staff we dealt with were extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms and facilities are comfortable and clean, the large king-sized beds are a big win in our minds. The Walled Garden Bistro was excellent, delicious food at a reasonable price - lots of local specialities. We also used the pool and had the place to ourselves! The buffet breakfast was also very good.

The location was excellent, just 5 minutes from the Motorway junction, our room was very comfortable and quiet with no road noise!! Staff on Reception couldn't have been more helpful, the food in both restaurants was excellent as were the staff.

The hotel was ok but we were located in a cottage in the grounds which we didn't mind to much but I couldn't believe that price didn't include breakfast. If I had known I wouldn't have booked it at £76 for room only and another £22 for breakfast makes it the most expensive I have stayed in and that includes London hotels.

I stay in lots of hotels and recommend very few. Barton Grange is the exception and scores very highly on all counts. Would definitely stay there again.

Nothing to complain about and big thanks to the staff for going that extra mile to help me during my stay. Very nearly a ten out ten.

We have stayed here many times. The rooms are large, clean and well appointed. The staff, including the manager, are extremely helpful, friendly and competent. The breakfast is good and there is extensive car parking. The restaurant has an excellent range of food with helpful staff. The main road outside is the A6 which leads directly to Preston or Lancaster. We shall be returning.
