Nice big comfy double room, very clean. Great full English breakfast.
A well decorated , lovely old building , warm room , good breakfast and helpful staff/ owner.
Wet room , should have requested a bath or proper shower.
single room bed needs something to stop- bed head knocking against wall, causing unneccessary noise at night for other sleepers.
Excellent room, friendly staff, superb breakfast. Brilliant value.
Bedside light didn't work.
Friendly helpful staff. Phoned me to give me directions when my sat nav broke. I was very late arriving, but was given a warm welcome. The house is beautiful, spotless and comfortable. Breakfast is plentiful and tasty, and parking is great. 5 star accommodation on a budget. Well worth a visit, and not far from Manchester Centre.
Nothing to dislike.
breakfast very good. Room fresh and warm. we would stay again
Need improve deaf access
Comfortable value money and nice breakfast
I like to travel all over the place for social life and shopping, too. Thanks Tracy
I was made very welcome. The price is extremely low for such a high standard guest house. I put comfort of bed as fair but only because there is nothing like your own bed! Bathroom was gorgeous!
Nothing, really. I prefer a quilt to sheets but I understand requirement for hygiene and use of appropriate bedding. I stayed somewhere else priced the same which was nowhere near as nice.
Great location - off street parking was a definite benefit!
Nice bathroom, and everything was fresh and decor was all in good condition.
Bed was a bit soft.
Right location. Friendly staff. Clean and comfortable room. Great breakfast, tasty and hot.
staff, cleanliness and breakfast
clean hotel with low price
very small room for one people and good audibility
Friendly people, good breakfast, Guest house was very clean
The guest house is situated a bit far from the city centre otherwise everything else was great
The booking system. Although it said that it was bed & breakfast hotel I fell into the trap that many others had I assumed that breakfast was included in the price. I could not see where the option for breakfast was - not good enough.
Nice place with nice staff.
My room wasn't ready at check-in and then I was allocated a single when I'd booked a double - My bill was reduced by £4.50 for my trouble which I consider a strange and miserable amount. My problems could easily have been resolved had the manager been on site at the check-in times, but it was dealt with by the house keeping staff in his absence.
This Hotel is one of the best my wife and I have stayed, all the staff are so friendly and helpful and it as all the comforts of home. Your so central for Lancashire, Derbyshire, Yorkshire and Cheshire this is the second time we have been here and was here for two nights. Thank you Barton Villa.
when you turned over the bed kept banging against the wall. room 6. I was charged for breakfast but never got it cause I was late up so I don't think I should have been charged????
The bed was very comfortable. Complimentary tea and coffee in the room.
The bathroom floor got soaked from the shower.
Stayed at Barton Villa for 2 Nights Was well pleased , Clean Room , Nice Full English Breakfast , Off Street Parking , Caring Owner ,Would Stay Again .
nothing to Dislike .
Very pleasant and helpful staff.
There was no hot water on my first night and the staff not only expected me to pay for that night but also the remaining three nights of my booking even though I moved hotels! It was also dirty, noisy, hard to find and required two hands to unlock the uncovered front door (it's not like you ever have something in your hands when you enter a hotel, is it?).
Comfortable bed, Excellent breakfast
