The breakfast was of good quality and variety. I wasn't impressed with the fact that the shower only ran cold water after 10:30pm or that the pressure reduced to a trickle when other guests were using thier'S. I also tried to use the wireless internet but could not connect. The only other problem was a strong smell of waste in the hallway outside my room. (I was close to an emergency exit overlooking the rear of the property)

Great service and very friendly staff. The building has character and is very well appointed and maintained. Good parking. Weekend breakfast is served too late if you are on business.

I was allocated a very comfortable ensuite room which was much appreciated after a difficult trip up from London by rail. The room was spotlessly clean, the bed very comfortable and I managed to fall asleep very quickly, which I don't often do in a strange environment, the first night. If I happen to need to visit that part of the world again I would not hesitate to use again and would happily recommend to others.
