The breakfast was excellent, lots of variety and very nicely cooked. We could hear the people in the room above ours, which was in the annexe. We could hear them talking, having sexual intercourse, snoring and using the toilet.

Ideal for the local crem. we needed to stay over as we live a 180 miles away. If it was located in a nicer part of England we would use it again.We made to feel welcome & nothing was to much trouble.

The breakfast was of good quality and variety. I wasn't impressed with the fact that the shower only ran cold water after 10:30pm or that the pressure reduced to a trickle when other guests were using thier'S. I also tried to use the wireless internet but could not connect. The only other problem was a strong smell of waste in the hallway outside my room. (I was close to an emergency exit overlooking the rear of the property)

Great service and very friendly staff. The building has character and is very well appointed and maintained. Good parking. Weekend breakfast is served too late if you are on business.
