ideal location to explore chester & surrounding areas, close to shops, pubs & dining
That there were two toilets!!
Couldn't fully shut curtains !!
Kept wake till 3am with live music so loud sounded life it was in apartment
Very modern, clean and nicely presented. The wall fitted televisions (not used on this occasion) in each room were a bonus and the shower fixtures (hand held and amazon) are really useful.
I believe the price offered was a special offer and it was a good one. I find however that £200+ per night is a little excessive.
Good facilities, and comfortable stay.
Paying for Wifi - is just a no no these days, go to the bar downstairs and get their free code! A little stuffy so the windows should have been able to open further - could be a nightmare in the summer. Basics in the kitchen, salt and pepper would have been appreciated. Bedroom without windows was stange but copeable.
Cleanliness room rate
Parking on the street not longer than 1 hour Room is bit small, but was sufficient for us
We stayed with 3 people in a two-bedroom apartment (number 7) on the top floor. We have all really enjoyed our stay, everything was clean and high standard. We had 1 bathroom with toilet and a separate toilet. From the previous reviews i was dreading the noise but on the top floor you can hardly hear it. It is not a hotel so there are a few different rules. Overall we really enjoyed our stay!!
The company who owns the apartments also changes a small fee when you pay with a non-UK credit card. Personally i feel UK credit card holders should also be charged so why not add the charge in the total price for everybody and avoid extra administration/emails. If you are on the 2nd floor, keep in mind it might be difficult to get up all the stairs for an elderly person as there is no elevator. The apartment has no dishwasher, but this was expected so not a problem. And
Everything. For warned the studio room is small but other than that it was all good.
Knock hard at the door otherwise they may not hear you. Also dont expect to drop off your bags sooner than check in because its not a hotel real more of an apartment.
Location was excellent...right in city centre. Apartments very quiet...no noise whatsoever which led to a very relaxing and comfortable stay.
The room was probably too small for us,but this was reflected in the price. Would have been better if there was some wardrobes....had to live out of the suitcase.
strategic location to town and railway station.
Next to the pub which was noisy.
If you don't check in before 5pm, they will charge a late check in fee (20 gbp before 7pm and 50gbp before 9pm).
Right next to the canal so a lovely walk into the city. Great restuarants immediately surrounding us and reasonably priced parking close by.
The hallway to the apartment was a bit dingy. The bed and sofa could have done with changing as they were a bit worn and slumped. You can hear loads of noise from the pub directly below (karaoke on Fridays and Saturdays!) plus the people from the other apartments. So if you're planning to party then this is ok but otherwise you might be woken in the night! Overall it's ok but a bit pricy for what you get compared to others.
5min from city centre and only 2min from great bars and restaurants. Clean modern rooms.
Inside bedroom was stuffy even with air con unit left on.
Charging a lot for Wifi
Great location for sightseeing, the room was clean and staff helpful.
The room was small, but that was explained to us upon booking so was to be expected.
apartment is certainly comfortable & clean
Ad said Washing machine in the apartment however apparently there is a shared one somewhere but you need to ask for a key on arrival however as you do not know this until you find there is not one & by that time the staff have gone never to be seen again forget it the dishwasher was not there also many small points like you should get an oven cloth & drying up cloth we only had an oven cloth the tin opener was not there you are supposed to take out your own rubbish it says to the basement however there are only 2 doors on the ground floor one goes to the street the other one is locked from the other side. As pointed out there is a Pub underneath but its not a little loud its more like a disco on Fri & Sat maybe not a prob if you will be out until the early hours of the morning but if you should want to get to sleep before 02.00 then avoid this place because you have no chance of getting any sleep. Also if you use the internet beware £5.00 a day cheaper to buy & use a dongle whats more you have to pay that in cash WHY?? Would I go there again maybe but certainly not on a Friday or Sat & would want somebody to stay until I have checked all we need is there not just do a runner
Great location Great pub downstairs Clean easy
Got the small bedroom thinking it was an apartment, so check which type you book. Small room is very small
Stylish, well located, a great friendly welcome - what more could you wish for!
The bed. Coffee and tea.
There was noise, quite noisy in the morning. I think it was the air conditioning unit.could not get back to sleep after I woke.
Situation ideal and well appointed
Could do with 'grab handle' for bath
Good location, easy walking to town centre with lots of local restaurants
Lack of free wifi
Location. Despite being above a bar (serving excellent beer)/club, the room was surprisingly quiet even on Friday night. Small but very comfortable double bed. Excellent shower. Just a short walk from the railway station
Despite being called serviced apartments I had booked a small room. And it was a very small room! When did drawer space become an optional extra? Although I arrived at the specified time there was no reception and after a phone call I was told I had been phoned the previous day. After a half hour a charming young lady arrived to perform the necessary. On returning home I discovered my wife had left her keys in the room . The promised call back never came.
Nothing about the apartment was good at all
These apartments are terrible do not stay here under any circumstance. They are not big enough for a mouse not alone a person. No window in the bedroom one small window in the front room that opens an inch and the heat in summer is enough to make you sweat like mad just say down.
Very well equipped apartment and in a good location. Very close to the train station, canal and nice restaurants and bars within a couple of minutes walk.
Not great in hot weather as small or no window in bedrooms.
we have used these apartements on several occassions which shows how comfortable we are with both the quality and location of the apartments. Highly recommended for that quick stay in Chester.
hot room in the summer. Grown ups should be able to open a window more than one inch to allow for fresh air.
