Overall excellent experience. Would definitely recommend this property.....plus, it's quite central
apartment immaculate , great central location . would stay in these apartments again
picking up the keys for apartment a bit of a bind ,address no where near apartment and not easy to find , having said that staff very pleasant
location was fantastic and central. modern, plenty of space for socialising.
lack of power of the showers. hassle of key collection and poor manner of base staff. the extra beds were non exsistant and no welcome info pack.
Great place to stay for three couples with nice facilities. Right in the heart of it. Staff were very helpful.
Good location, decent sized room and bathroom, high ceilings, fluffy towels. Pleasant stay all round but the room needs attention (windows that stay closed and don't allow in the outside air on a cold night and doors that lock easily are very important). We would stay here again but ask for a different room hoping it doesn't have the same issues.
Both our windows kept popping open there was no way to shut them. We were only on the first floor so it was a bit unnerving knowing the windows did not lock shut. It was below 10 degrees outside and windy, so we had to try and weigh them down with our bags to keep them shut, but they were not sealed - the wind blew up between the sash window gaps. The heat wasn't on initially (but the staff kindly brought a space heater and fixed this). Our door didn't lock very well and was difficult to open/lock.
Modern furniture and decor. Great views across the city. Excellent location for shopping and restaurants.
You need to be able to climb stairs to get to 3 bed apartment, but its worth it.
The room was fine and the facilities were clean.
A phone call after I booked asked for a credit card fee which I refused and it was eventually conceded. I was then asked for £150 credit card deposit which I have never been asked for before. It was too late in the day so I gave it but was not happy.
Clean, with good facilities in a central location
Excessive noise from outside resulting in no sleep for 2 nights, no soundproofing, no facility to turn the intercom off so drunken people pressing the buzzer all night, strong smell of people smoking on the stairwell and drifting into apartment.
Having to go to the other side of town to collect keys Noise from buses.
Love the fact that there were 3 bathrooms especially when there were 5 of us getting ready to out. The apartment was really clean and had everything you need. Would definitely recommend this as a place to stay.
The only downfall was the lighting. The lighting was very dark especially when trying to put make-up on!!!
Having to go from one side of liverpool to other False advertising (not an apartment) Hidden fees (security deposit)
Lovey comfortable apartments, lots of space & everything attention to detail! Great for groups of friends or families! Loved them! Wud def be staying there again!
We were in room 3 & was a hefty climb up 3 flights of stairs, wudnt b suitable for anyone with walking difficulities or anyone with small children with buggies!
Well equipped and nicely furnished apartment All rooms were ensuite On arrival it was spotlessly clean
Due got he positionoftheapartment there is a lot of noise fromthe street As a Liverpudlian friend says "Liverpool never sleeps"
Location Accommodation Cost
Check-in is at a different location some way from Sir Thomas St Whopping deposit of £1500 requested for 3 bed apartment Cost of a broken glass was £100!!!! We took plastic glasses and paper plates. No lift, it's a long way to the 4th floor with luggage and provisions
Ideal for people who are fit enough for the many flights of stairs. Good sized bedrooms, well furnished and each with en- suite. Comfortable living area.
Noise from traffic prevented good night sleep. Had to have all windows open as very warm.
Good location, great view and lovely appartment
Had to pick up a key from the base office which was the other side of town. 5th floor apartment no lift. £250 deposit for each person staying took the mick ! All sorts of fines from noise pollution to smoke damaged even if smoking outside on a balcony
You get what you pay for. Redeemed themselves with quality tea and shower essentials.
Had to find the BASE office as it wasn't located in the same building as the room. The room was quite small, shower not brilliant. Above a pub, we stayed on a Tuesday night which was quiet but I can imagine a weekend stay would be very noisy.
Very central location. Loved the apartment great having the sitting dining and kitchen area providing space for breakfast, pre night out drinks etc. With the added advantage of 3 rooms set up as hotel rooms all ensuite giving us plenty of space for all 6 of us to get ready for our nights out.
Not keen on not having a lift for carrying our bags on arrival and departure. It would be good if you offered a porter service. Did not like going to separate location to pick up the keys again dragging our luggage. Again a porter service who brought the key could combat this. No air con a couple of fans would be appreciated. Wi Fi would have been great.
The gentleman on reception was extremely patient and helpful. The room was clean and spacious.
It was an extremely long walk, across the other side of Liverpool city centre to collect the keys. All of the other apartments,I have stayed at in the UK,have had a reception on site. The room had crumbs and a dirty mark on the wall near the window,as if someone had smeared food on the wall. The toilet roll holder was also hanging off the wall.I had to take pictures in case I was charged the £150 deposit. If you are only given a room then I do not see why,you have to have the funds for the deposit `frozen `on your account?I have never had this happen ,just to book a room!I would also not rate this hotel as 4* either, the carpets and walls within the entrance are grubby and the apartments are right next to a noisy pub.You cant open the windows,if its hot as the noise is terrible. Also no air con! There are better options for the same price!
very tidy clean room bathroom immaculate good city centre location friendly staff
the worst problem was simply the glass in the windows is insufficiently strong enough to block out the noise from outside and the only way to even slightly block out the noise was to close the windows completely, this however led to the room being far too hot as there was no air conditioning so you had a choice of massive noise from buses and traffic and people partying in the street until well after 4am or closing the windows and still hearing loads of noise and not being able to breathe. ear plugs are needed it may be ok for people travelling without children though, we had a small child in tow. im afraid the television provided didn't do the job as no matter what channel you watched a message saying no signal kept on appearing on the screen which was very very frustrating. perhaps the worst thing was the £150 pre authorisation deposit which was required which felt really unnecessary for although the room was immaculately clean it was hard to spot £150 worth of anything in the room, it just felt unnecessary for a couple with a child to go through this hassle, I could understand if it was perhaps a group of young fellas or women etc but it just didn't feel right having to hand over our card to do this pre authorisation, which, a;lthough it is explained never comes out of your account as it isn't a charge, but in fact, it becomes unavailable from your funds so instead of the 200 pound spending money we had we found we had 50 pound left due to this charge, it felt a bit like we had been robbed before we even got to our room and it just isn't a good feeling when you know you could simply book a room at any available hotel and not have to go through any of that aggravation.
- location - clean - spacious
- only double beds - i'd recommend it to 6-7 people not 8
Misleading we were under the impression we had booked an appartment turned out to be a very small bedroom with no facilities. When we complained were told to read the small print ,after booking and paying for an appartment never entered my head to see if the small print on the confirmation told us it wasnt an appartment ????This was located over the 2nd buisiest bus station in The city centre,as the wibdows did not shut it was so noisy we could not sleep when the buses stopped at 1am and the pub next door finished putting the empties in the bin we had 3hours to get some sleep before the 1st bus arrived at 5:45.even with ear plugs it is impossible to sleep. There is also no cleaner we had one towel each for our 5 day stay and the bins were not emptied so were overflowing, not nice in a small cramped room with nowhere to put anything, they also advise tea/coffee in room this consisted of 2 tea bags, coffee and sugar to last the whole stay, had it been the appartment we thought we were staying in this would of been acceptable since it was like a hotel room we expexted it to be refilled daily.
Quality of apartment, Location, Ease of booking, Price, Facilities, Cleanliness.
No WiFi (even though advertised), Moving beds (on wheels), Lack of free parking, Some fixtures & fittings were damaged from previous visitors, Noise at night (windows were useless at sound reduction).
Good central area to all amenities
Accessing the property at night was scarey due to drunks and homeless people lying in doorstep!! Would not recommend to females travelling solo !!!
Amazing penthouse suite. Right in the middle of Liverpool but far enough from the busiest night spots to be quiet. Great value for a shared group. Loved it.
