Clean, comfortable room, albeit quite small. Convienient for Earls Court underground and local shops, restaurants and pubs. My room was in basement so windows let in quite a lot of traffic noise from street but certainly not as bad as others I have stayed in

Very contemporary setting; modern rooms with stylish furnishings. Good location. Safe neighborhood. Access to transportation options. We chose a Superior room, which it said on its site, houses 3 people. It would not do so comfortably. The single is a small chair which must make into a bed. But we couldn't figure out how it would ever fit made into a bed. It would have been ridiculously annoying and crowded. We chose this room hoping for a larger room, which it wasn'T. It was really small and cramped for two people. The half shower door is just annoying and resulted in a flood in our bathroom every day requiring all our towels. It was worse because we are both tall. Maybe it would work for small people. But it also required standing at the very front of the tub to avoid the flood. Why not just enclose the tub with a shower curtain and avoid the whole problem? The room could use more lighting. With such high ceilings, the lights were inadequate.

Great staff that was friendly, professional, helpful. No extra or hidden fees upon checkout. Good value for London standards... You can't compare London prices to most other places. Great location in a good neighbourhood...nice to be so close to a major grocery store - Sainsbury's. Overall, a great stay and would book here again at this price in London. The free wi-fi was unreliable and slow. Surfing the internet via the TV was not easy. Strange shower door that only went halfway to the end of the bath, which made it difficult not to make the floor wet (still, a pretty good bathroom for London standards). The room coffee was instant, not brewed...so I ended up going to the nearby Starbucks at Sainsbury's for morning coffee.

Close to Earl's Court tube station, very nice (but small) room. Built-in kitchenette was great, nice big shower, good tv entertainment system. Very friendly, professional staff. Only thing we didn't like there was the loud slamming of doors well into the night. The doors are heavy (good for privacy) but auto-closing, and if left to close on their own, they slam so loudly it woke us up several times each night. But otherwise a great hotel, and would love to stay again.

The staff were very helpful and friendly. On arrival we were able to change rooms to a larger one without any problem. They were so accommodating in every way. No toasters in the rooms. Disappointing when you have mininmal kitchen amenities.

Friendly, efficient staff, as was the case during previous visits. The location, steps from Earls Court Tube, is great: easy access to Heathrow, the Piccadilly line running through central London, short walk to V&A and Science Museum. It's a great plus to have a mini-fridge and a small kitchen sink. The single room is very small (alcoves for a bed, desk, and entry, but a main area that is approximately 1 meter x 5 meters. London hotel rooms tend to be quite small, but even if you are traveling alone, I'd think about a double if I stayed at Base2Stay. In a single room, the bed is too short for anyone over 5"8" (1m70) or so (I am 6-3, or 1m87): very uncomfortable. The tv set was very poor: it's on its last legs, with extremely bad contrast: the screen was so dark that the picture became nearly invisible in some situations. The selection of tv channels was also pathetic in this age of satellite television. Base2Stay remains a good value for central London, but I noticed several little signs of slippage since my last visit (about a year ago).

While very compact, the room was extremely functional. From the electronic shower, to the kitchenette kidden in the closet, we were delighted with all the different features. The bed was extraordinarily comfortable. The staff were very professional, always polite, provided great suggestions, and were first rate in all respects.

Friendly, responsive staff, nothing too much trouble, always polite. Felt looked after. Cleaning was a bit hit and miss at time but acceptable. Very convenient location relative to tube and bus routes for multiple errands I was running. Best words to dessribe it are: welcoming, efficient, conveniently located Hit and miss cleaning as described above. TV did not have facility to see what was coming in next few hours of watching ie lack of 'information' bars on screen or on screen guide

I have stayed for the first time last year and had no hesitation staying again this year. The location is great, the service excellent and the rooms are a good size by London standards. Good value for money.

It was clean, easy, comfortable, and everything was exactly as advertised. I was dismayed by the expense of hotel laundry services, and would have been very glad to have an inexpensive alternative *on site*.

Excellent quiet location in close proximity to elegant squares and numerous restaurants and pubs. Being so close to Earl's Court tube station made commuting to and from Heathrow hassle free. I would definitely stay there again.

The location, convenience and quietness. The Hotel is situated near Earl's Court tube station. Nearby food shops, fast food restaurants or pubs. Also good relation between price and quality considering rooms. The air conditioner was making rattle noises and the shower was not working properly sometimes no water was coming out (!)

The staff welcome when I arrived - excellent. The cleanliness of the hotel. The TV info system. The bathroom facilities. No breakfast facilities - I didn't expect that. Traffic noise - not bad but noticeable.

The location of the Hotel is great and although the rooms are small they contain all requirements. Although the Hotel advertises free use of wi-fi throughout the Hotel, most of the time the wi-fi is too slow, almost unusable.

Great philosyphy: take a 4 star hotel, strip all the unnecessary extras like a spa, pool, bar, restaurant, space, minibar and have all you really need at a good price. And fast and free WiFi, which for me is essential these days. No bar, no restaurant, no pool, no minibar not even a spa ;-)
