The hotel still retains its sense of a very well-done modern renovation, despite being a few years now. In comparison to the surrounding buildings that is its best asset. It's great there is an elevator in this scale of a building, and that it is quiet and quick. The stairs and floor carpets still clean and thick under the feet, the building is quiet. The staff is efficient and courteous. Certain rooms are really just not the same as others (under the street level with windows only showing feet on sidewalk or ground floor windows facing cars parking in the courtyard, etc. or window to a narrow walled-in cul-de-sace of neighboring buildings) and yet get charged the same. Even if one books more than two months ahead, there is little benefit in rate and often implausibly few options for rooms. Having walked around the area and seen other new buildings of a similar concept now, there is an issue with the base2stay rate and reservation difficulty pricing it out of competitiveness.

Great location near to 2 tube stations (5 minute walk) and cafes. Beautiful neighborhood. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Great value for money. We had a big terrace which was a nice touch. Kitchenette in room came in handy too. Wifi worked well. Overall we loved it and Balans, a breakfast cafe near by where you get 10% as a hotel guest was tasty.

This is a perfect location -- two short blocks from Earl's Court Tube Station, so it's an easy trip in from Heathrow, and well-suited to any business or touring about London. I like the simplicity of the set-up -- and the no -fuss or no-waste ideas. The Sainsbury grocer is around the corner, so go fetch your breakfast for the week and keep it in the fridge. The free wi-fi is an added bonus, and all the little details of the place add up to a solid value and a comfortable, private stay. It really is like having your own little flat in Kensington. They should offer lower rates for those staying longer than 2-3 days, or who are willing to pay in advance with a non-refundable rate locked in. This is a terrific, well-managed, efficient, clean hotel and I highly recommend it.

The location near Earls' Court underground station, the hotel staff. The drafts of the window in the room.

A clean hotel, well situated in close range of the underground. Value for money. Just a minor remark : 2 other people from our group booked a single room through an agency and got a bigger single room then me and my colleague, whom booked on booking.com. The hotel did not seem fully booked to me, so an uplift would have been a great service, as I indicated on my booking that we were traveling as a group. A missed chance there.

Very contemporary setting; modern rooms with stylish furnishings. Good location. Safe neighborhood. Access to transportation options. We chose a Superior room, which it said on its site, houses 3 people. It would not do so comfortably. The single is a small chair which must make into a bed. But we couldn't figure out how it would ever fit made into a bed. It would have been ridiculously annoying and crowded. We chose this room hoping for a larger room, which it wasn'T. It was really small and cramped for two people. The half shower door is just annoying and resulted in a flood in our bathroom every day requiring all our towels. It was worse because we are both tall. Maybe it would work for small people. But it also required standing at the very front of the tub to avoid the flood. Why not just enclose the tub with a shower curtain and avoid the whole problem? The room could use more lighting. With such high ceilings, the lights were inadequate.

Clean, comfortable room, albeit quite small. Convienient for Earls Court underground and local shops, restaurants and pubs. My room was in basement so windows let in quite a lot of traffic noise from street but certainly not as bad as others I have stayed in

Large double room, great location in Earl's Court neighborhood, everything in the hotel and rooms look new, excellent bedding, bathroom, towels. The layout of the hotel is challenging with lots of stairs to negotiate with luggage even after you've taken the lift to your floor.

Good location in a quiet, safe neighborhood. One block to the underground. S & M grocery one block....so one could eat breakfast in the room. There was no outlet for hair dryer in the bathroom? Had to blow dry and style my hair away from a mirror. I thought when provided a kitchen one might be able to make a small pot of coffee in their room. Instead you are given one instant coffee package per day?

Nice area with good connections. Really good bed. Larger room than what we had last year. Silent at night. New television with good services. Wireless net connection was free. Warm rack for towels. Upstairs floor was sreaky with heavy walker living there. Our room was 306. We stayed 9 nights and again as in last year the sheets were changed only once after 3 days. Poor amenities.

The design is good, the little microwave was great, the rooms were clean. We did feel that the domestic staff tried to be as accommodating as possible. Think that the concept is great. Did not like. The very small room for the money. I found the beds to be poor, hence sleep was not great, My son stayed in another room and was happy enough for a stay of one night. Would say it is good for a one or two night stay, but not for a longer term stay. This is particularly relevant if you want to try and work from your room, especially for couples. We also asked for a twin room and then were given a double. We had room changed to twin , but no mattress protector. Think it would be a good idea to have wash up liquid in room all the time rather than having to ask for it.Found that we were on top of each other, so moved to another hotel, same price , twice the room. This is essential if you are travelling with large suitcases. I guess that from now on, I would focus on available room space, rather than the self catering nature of the room.

The hotel is conveniently located next to Earl's Court underground station. Also, the room and the bathroom were clean with a lot of towels. The room was quite small, and there was no possibility for hanging dresses, coats or longer clothes. This could be improved upon in our opinion.

I really liked the kitchen facilities in the room and the extremely nice shower. Also, the bath gel was really nice! It made my stay more special. The bed was very comfortable and I appreciated that the led clock on the tv was not too bright so that it didn't disturb my sleep. The staff was really nice. Everything was very clean and modern and good quality. Even the vending machine had a good selection and good prices. I liked the addition of Orangina. I think a lot of thought was put into this hotel and I appreciated it very much and felt I got my money's worth. The room was extra small. There wasn't enough floor space to do any stretching exercise. But it was okay for one night and just one person.

We were very happy with our stay at Base 2 Stay. The rooms were very comfortable with a pleasant decor and the bathroom equipment easy to manipulate. The little kitchenette was accessible and had most of what you would need for a short vacation. The staff were very hospitable and always willing to offer assistance. Perhaps a toaster would have been handy. Base 2 Stay does not provide breakfast and although there are eating places five minutes away the best one was a good 10 minute walk.

The staff is professional, knowledgable and personable. This is my thrid stay at this hotel and I always receive a very warm welcome. The rooms are comfortable, clean and efficient. The location is convenient to public transport; banking; post office; food stores and is located near a lovely park. One is out of the intense "tourist areas", while being close enough to have easy acces to everything.
