Easy location to rail station. Host pleasent with a good welcome. The stains on the carpet in the bedroom The grey grubby towels in the bathroom The smell of the entire room, it smelt as if someone had been smoking in the room. Well over priced at £95 it was worth no more than £50.

When I arrived I was welcomed by a friendly manager and it give you the feeling that you are expected. The room was good and comfortable, same as the bathroom. Free internet was welcome as I had to work in the evening. It is a b&b but a diner can be ordered. This is convenient and welcome. The breakfast was complete. The facility has 10 rooms, this gives you a nice and comfort feeling. Also for breakfast it was never crowded or noisy.

very friendly staff and welcoming, clean rooms being charged an extra £10 for breakfast when already paid a high price for room. Basingstoke Lodge Hotel is a bed and breakfast not a hotel.

Relatively new Boutique hotel finished to high spec; staff very helpful and knowledgeable about area- good suggestions re- local pubs and restaurants. Quiet and comfortable bedroom with everything I needed.

Basingstoke Lodge was very comfortable place to stay, a home from home. Nothing was too much trouble and rooms were extreamly comfortable. I was extreamly well looked after.

Clean comfortable room with free wi fi and helpful staff Nothing to dislike but need to be aware that it doesnt serve evening meals however the owner is helpful and will get you a snack if you need it.

Good staff, location is good with parking out on front, bed and pillows comfy, clean overall, quiet, room key opens main entrance so can go in and out as you please at any time. Couldn't fault anything but the shower (in part - it did work and gave hot water at least). Shower was extremely powerful at any level, including modifying shower head - actually painful to use. I found the shower cubicle itself quite small therefore difficult to rotate and kept knocking into the large shampoo holder.
