Everything about the hotel was great. The staff, location, comfort, food. Fantastic and will definately stay again as it was an absolute pleasure. No problem recommending it to anyone
We had a fantastic weekend at bath lodge castle. The staff are very welcoming and the hotel is lovely and clean.
The staff where very helpful, the location is very peaceful. The food was really good and very reasonably priced. The Jacuzzi was nice and warm.
Sunday lunch and free upgrade to a lovely room
No resteraunt on Sunday night
The Lodge was very family friendly and the staff were very welcoming. There are fun little walks through the gardens and animals such as chickens, rabbits and a goat in a fenced off area. The family room was great. One room with two single beds and another with a king bed..
Beautiful accommodation. Excellent staff. Top quality facilities. Stunning surroundings. A perfect place to spend our anniversary, very romantic and treated like royalty. A huge thank you to Karen and her team.
Great accommodation in historic building, beautiful gardens and grounds, very professional manager. Wayne was very helpful, especially in giving us ideas for sightseeing in the local area and in helping us retrieve our lost luggage.
Wayne made us feel very welcome from the time we arrived and he was able to accommodate our food requests . Although our room wasn't part of the original castle it was comfortable.A bonus was the hot tub and going for a walk in the grounds which were lovely.
Bath Lodge Castle was a fantastic break for myself and my wife. We had a very relaxing and luxurious anniversary weekend! Staff very friendly and room was superb!
Everything was great but if we had to say something to improve we thought that it wasn't very well lit on the main road. We travelled quite late at night and drove passed it at first as you don't see it until your right on top of it just something to bare in mind. However cannot fault the actual castle it is fab!!
Our compliments to Wayne, he was both extremely professional an courteous. Everything was better than we expected. From the room, to the grounds, all kept in excellent order. The special touches we received for our wedding anniversary were lovely. We have no hesitation in recommending a stay.
The service and the silence.
room did not have sitting place, out side noise which disturb sleeping. Brackfast did not have much choice. I only give two star.
Size of twin beds plastic flowers poor drainage of shower smell in outer area of room silverfish in beds door handle broken to room no tissues cobwebs every where! Damp bedding
Quietness, walks and hot tub.
Great people, location, slept like a baby. Excellent stay
Lovely people, relaxing and romantic location. Karen and Mike were very attentive and nothing was too much trouble. Food was excellent with some very interesting meals on the menu. We can highly recommend and we will of course be going back again.
The whole experience
Castle environment, Good interior decoration, Comfortable mattress, Friendly and helpful staff
The castle is close to a busy road. Those rooms which are facing to the road may be little bit noisy.
Personnel is very good and food is excellent.
The room was no good, small room, bad toilet, a lot of noise from outside including high noise from road.
great warm welcome, exquisite surroundings.
As part of out wedding anniversary celebration we booked a night here . Our room had a bathroom in a turret with slit windows and a door on to the ramparts wich was our own private roof garden so lovely in the sun shine and the moon light .
The castle is right on the road , not so buisy at night , we slept well . Would like the room to have looked more castley inside could do with some suits of armor and stag heads etc. looked a bit plain when curtains were closed .
Lovely room with the bathroom in a turret. Excellent restaurant with very tasty meals served. Hot tub in the garden was a real treat after a day sight-seeing.
The manageress was exceptionally friendly, she and her staff couldn't do enough to help! Splendid setting, very relaxing and romantic, already planning a second visit with all the family. Lovely wine fantastic food and very nice atmosphere.
Really loved the friendly staff felt like you are staying at a friends home really welcoming :-)
