The only issue we had was that there was no hot water during the evening. Karen quickly called the plumber and the issue was resolved later that evening, giving us hot water by the morning- we were also offered a glass of wine as compensation.
Karen was fantastic and very friendly when we arrived. The afternoon tea at the hotel was fantastic- one of the best scones I've ever had, and lovely homemade jam. Room was spacious and comfortable, and was nice to have tea and coffee, and a fruit bowl waiting upon our arrival.
The jacuzzi/sauna area was lovely and secluded away from the rest of the hotel. The weather was not great during our trip, and the sauna took a long time to heat up and the jacuzzi could have been a bit warmer, but on the whole was a great little addition!
Breakfast the next morning was fantastic- perfectly poached eggs, and a little selection of hot items from the buffet, as well as a choice of various cereals and juices. At just a 15 minute drive from the centre of Bath, highly recommended hotel for anyone looking for a short break away, and we would definitely return!
