The apartment was beautiful. Very warm and comfortable and La had gone to the trouble to put up some lovely Christmas decorations and a tree which was a real bonus. Good location - within walking distance to city centre. So much nicer than staying in a hotel as we were with our teenage kids so it was like home from home. The beds were comfortable and the towels lovely and soft. All in all a terrific place to stay for a weekend in Bath and would definitely return. Highly recommend it.
Having to leave after such a fabulous weekend!
The apartment was in a good location! Comfy bed and good shower
It was slightly tired around the edges, could do with fresh paint and carpets could do with a clean. The kitchen utensils were not very clean (there was dried food on some) and it all appeared to be mugs, plates, pots and pans the owner no longer wanted in their own home!
Excellent location on a quiet side road and yet only a short stroll from the town centre. The supermarket nearby made shopping easy and the parking permit allowed us to park up and leave the car until we were leaving. The apartment has been refurbished and is very comfortable but still has a quaint and quirky feel.
Option to park for small fee Five minute walk to town Quiet at night Fitted kitchen Lots of homely touches River view
Just the kitchen seating
The location was ideal and the support provided by the team outstanding and very accommodating. All round and excellent trip
Nice interior design, cozy feel and nice and warm. Comfy bed, with two sofas in the living room. Had everything you could need in the kitchen and a good wi-fi signal.
Nothing really. Maybe one or two of the fixtures and fittings could have been properly fixed to the wall etc. in places as they were sometimes loose or wobbly. It's an old building though so perhaps not always easy. just took the edge off an otherwise perfect set up.
Located close to shops & restaurants. Really peaceful and the comfiest bed! Would definitely visit again.
Loved the décor and feel of the flat. The fact that it was on 2 floors made it feel more like a house and the garden was a pleasant surprise. It is next door to a Sainsburys superstore, but you can't see or hear it, so it was a definite plus for getting food and drink.
Staying in the apartment was a refreshing change from staying in hotels. We were left in peace and felt very much at home. A romantic venue situated a 5 min walk from the centre. We've already recommended the venue to friends.
Bed was very comfortable. Kitchen was well-equipped Good location Value for money
Too many stairs Living room a bit dingy
Location really good
The apartment sounded so nice, and it could still be - but it needs a lot more attention and care put into reparing the decor which is shabby, and basics like sorting the shower and sorting the bed (with uncomfortable springs). I hope the owner does this - as then it will be a really nice flat!
The location was amazing 5 mins from town, seconds from a Large Sainsbury's (that is perfectly hidden from view by large trees). The house is beautifully decorated and very clean, I would love to go back in summer to make the most of the garden.
Bed was great . Good size rooms. Kitchen was good.
Sofa was very smelly it was cream once very dirty . Had to cover it with the throw of the bed before siting on it, should have a leather or plastic sofa so easy to clean.
Apartment location was very central Backyard Staff came immediately on arrival
Location is excellent Hosts really friendly Very clean and quaint
Having tea and coffee supplied but no milk? No head room in shower or toilet
Location and good parking. Good decor and clean. Tea bags and coffee provided thank you.
Front door key tricky to use. The towel holder in the bathroom dropped off. The cold tap drips water onto the floor when turned down/low flow. Remote didn't work. The bed was uncomfortable due to old sagging mattress it felt a bit like a safari bed. TV in bedroom didn't work properly. Sorry.
We liked the close proximity to the main district everything was in walking distance
We didn't like the bags of wet laundry outside our door it was there every day and also the bags of garbage just outside the main front door that you had to maneuver around. The cleaner also had to access linen for the other apartments through our apartment. There was also a lot of maintenance required, the taps dripping, toilet seats loose and toilet roll holders hanging off the walls.
We loved the generous size of the rooms, the well equipped kitchen, the lounge/ dining area. The member of staff who dealt with us (Louise) was wonderfully friendly and helpful . All in all a pleasant stay.
There was only one bathroom. We were all rushing to get ready, and had to wait .
Perfect location, lovely appartment, beautiful town.
On street parking available, for a fee, walking distance to town, close to pleasant river walk, next door to Sainsburys shopping centre, no through traffic, could get a 2 bedroom apartment for one night, after hours lock box check in, free Wifi. Spacious, good sized rooms, access to second floor hidden behind open front door, joy to find it. 2 toilets. Garden access for ground floor apartment.
No instructions for the washing machine. Wash dry cycle took 6 hours. Rubbish bins not collected outside. Bins on street and in garden were full.
Close to the centre, Good parking
Bed too hard, sorry to say noisy flat above singing from 1.00 to 5.00 in the morning
Very quiet at night Easy to access the centre of Bath Handy to have kitchen and living area
The shower did not work
Louise the owner was really welcoming and helpful. The apartment was next to the river and really quiet. The big Georgian windows let plenty of light in. The decor was fantastic, and we had everything we needed.
Great location :) had a great few day will definitely go back :))
