Rooms were clean and tidy.shower a waste of time do not always want to have a bath. Breakfast was excellent and could have more if you ask.reception area clean and tidy

Staff were excellent & Hotel, although on the old side was kept thoroughly clean etc.

The room was lovely, warm and comfortable with well maintained and new facilities. The staff made us really welcome and were very helpful. Martin (owner) cooked breakfast and was a very generous host.

Difficult parking and although hotel gave good advice, by Email, of a car park to use with a full refund no directions to locate it was provided.

the hotel was dated and tatty from outside the bedroom furniture had seen better days the windows were dirty. there were parts missing off the the metal bed frame. on the first morning the member of staff at breakfast was quit off hand. Parking was also an issue

It was unfortunate About your lift not working but I believe it's has now been repaired. The minor comment I could make was the shelf in the bathroom was rather low which washing ones face rather difficult.

It was an ideal place for attending a wedding at Tunnel Beaches. Also a short walk to harbour, beach, shops and restaurant'S.The owner and staff are all very friendly and helpful.

Ilfracombe is very hilly for the disabled person.

Corridors are a bit of a roller coaster ride, but that is part is thevictorian period charm

everything, from location, bedtime, to breakfast.. would use hotel again, if available, as i take random breaks being self-employed.. really enjoy illfracombe, have been many times over the years, recommend coastal drive from minehead, via, porlock weir, lynmouth, lynton, valley of the rocks, hunters inn, combe martin, a marvellous adventure.......

The staff were very accommodating and welcoming. All facilities were very well kept, we didn't have the evening meal, but the breakfast (which was included) was very nice. the hotel is within easy walking distance of everything, with its own parking and right next to the tunnels, which lead down to the beach. All making for a wonderful stay in the picturesque village of Ilfracombe. well worth a visit.

Nice staff, decent breakfast, clean comfortable, jaccuzzi, quiet at this time year (mid Nov), nice old lift.

Plug on bath was slightly difficult to open!

Spotless room and excellent refurbished en suite. Charming staff and an excellent breakfast. It is very near the Tunnels, where our daughter is marrying next march.

Next door to Tunnells Beaches where we went to a wedding. Nice entrance hall. Breakfast okay.

Put on the top floor with young children. Room not cleaned, beds not made for the second night. Quality of bedding poor. Double bed not segregated from children's twin beds, in family room. Manager disappeared after receiving monies on the first day. No-one around or said goodbye on leaving.

the outside needs some tlc it wasnt very invitng from the outside i would image this puts people off but give it a go the rest is good

A well run privately owned hotel that is very clean and the owner Malclom a friendly chap. I would highly recommend this hotel and look forward to returning myself.

lovely atmosphere friendly staff we felt totally relaxed and comfortable the food was good,nothing to complain about.

The suite was so spacious and lovely big tv in the lounge and the bedroom,the jacuzzi was a really good size.totally satisfied with our stay.
