Very good price/quality, nice and rustique situated in its own park; old tradition with modern comfort service, staff and guest are not completely in concordance with what you would expect referring to the outlook, reputatation and style of the hotel; in bath facilities (incl. sauna) you need to be dressed. |

The comfort The bar was too dark for us to be able to sit in and read books and only had a very limited range of non-alcoholic drinks. |

The hotel was a treat to stay in. It's position, surroundings, facilities, rooms and staff were all very good indeed. Would thoroughly recommend. Meals and wine were a little pricey. |

The staff were very friendly and helpfull. The room was lovely and felt very welcoming. The pool was lovely and warm and our 16 month old loved it. Our internet booking did not seem to be registered when we arrived. Although this was sorted out quickly, I didnt really get a full explanation of why. We arrived at 4.30pm and our room wasn't ready - further delays. |

Close proximity to Bath City centre Overcharging - £3.50 for a bottle of Cola that would cost 75p in a supermarket!! |

Spa is great, can be improved. Me and my wife were having a nap around 7pm in the evening when one of the staff members opened the door...he did apologize ,but still they should knock before entering the room. |

Hotel located 10 min walk from town centre. Grounds were lovely. Rooms fair sized and well serviced only spoiled by a ripped curtain. Would stay again. |

Upgraded to Imperial suite with butler service on arrival!! Suite was in separate building with separate sitting room(great fire, tv, etc.) & luxurious marble bathroom with huge walk-in shower!! Colonnade bar is osy with good service &breakfast was good value. If possible get a room on floor 3 or above- family rooms on floor 2 so you may get the baby which wakes every 2 hours(my experience!) |

Beautiful hotel in quiet surroundings yet only 10 min walk into Bath city centre. Parking. Waited 15minutes to check out as only one member of staff. Noisy children spoiled a relaxing poolside read. Spa facilities should be child free as spa breaks are meant to be quiet and relaxing. Expensive menu/ minibar. |

good spa facilities and reasonable pool, nice breakfast slightly disappointed by quality of service at dinner, I didn't think it was quite 5 star and had a duck salad starter which was a lump of duck on some leaves. |
