very friendly staff, excellent spa facilities.

The staff were very attentive at all times and the quality of facilities offered were of the highest standard

I was unable to get a table in the restaurant despite the fact that it appeared hat the numbers booked were nowhere near capacity

£5 tray charge for room service.£2 charge for credit card. No Alfresco dining in evening.

The rooms and the spa was good.

Marking of the road to the hotel were poor and wrong. The map of the bath was a bad black and white version. The attitude of the staff had more focus on money than on the service. The service I need is better in hotels with fewer stars

It was a bit expensive to get a room with breakfast so not somewhere we will stay very often.

Liked the spa, pool and outside pool very much. Beauty treatments good. First class food. Rooms of high standard, comfortable. Nice surroundings, helpful friendly staff. Very peaceful. Excellent for relaxing.

We were very late getting our room keys. Lengthy queues at hotel reception which was understaffed given the number of guests. Wrong luggage taken to our rooms. No booking offers, so expensive considering breakfast not included. Small point: no chocolates in our room but in room of fellow guests.

We loved our romantic 2 night stay. The staff were all lovely and we will definitely stay again.

the hotel and staff were fab and the spa was a great place to go to at the end of a busy day sight seeing.

thought the service in the spa area could have been friendlier. I had not stayed there before and did not feel the person on reception was very helpful. The person who booked us in to the hotel was lovely - much more the level of service i would expect

The Hotel is beautiful, with a nice garden, very quiet, clean and luxurious. We had a nice surprise, our double room was stunning, confortable.

We thought that the hotel was very clean, the Spa was excellent and the staff knowledgeable and professional.

cost of the drinks in the bar was excessive breakfast was expensive if all you wanted was toast and coffee, would have preferred itemised menu.

The food in the hotel restaurant was cooked to perfection.

The hotel as such is a gem with regard to location, garden, building. However, we had the impression that it is poorly managed. From front office (allocation of a room with absolutely no view) to restaurant (uncoordinated service) there is room for lots of improvements. The audio system in the gym did not work.
