Near to underground, very good english breakfast, low accommodation price, quiet neighborhood, near to London's center.
No free WiFi(2£/hour), if you should leave your luggage in resepsion you should pay 1£ per luggage.
good breakfast, nice staff, clean commodities, great location
accomodations need huge renovation, facilities really old, rooms in the basement are not pleasant, room door to the hall feels a bit insafe
Customer service was excellent. Reception area looks great and breakfast was perfectly adequate. I think other people reviewing this Hotel need to remember how much they are paying for the room. If you want somewhere just to lay your weary head then this is great value for money. If you want luxury you'll need to pay a lot more. We stayed with our 11 month old daughter and was given a bigger room at no extra cost. Was quiet and comfortable.
Professional and very good staff/managers!
the location it was great for me
i didn t like the room it was very small in ground floor i couldn t even can relax and there is not wifi in the room, the check in is suppose to be at 14:00 but they said at 15:00,the heater in the room it didn t work and they have another 1 very dangerous
clean small rooms a short walk away from the west end. The place was nice and warm - appreciated this time of year. The breakfasts were good.Staff at reception were very efficient.
the rooms in the basement could do with new carpet.
Whitney at reception was wonderful, very helpful and polite. Room was lovely decorated and bed was comfy!
Very convenient and close to Oxford Tube bus stop in Notting Hill. Good value for money. Rooms vary but even basic beds proved very comfortable.
Too small room.
No free wifi
Bath no hand rails , extreamly noisy people slamming doors,we was on main corridor so heard every noise and the lift moving ,bed felt like it was going to collapse
The location of the hotel.
-Room was not clean -Shower nozzle was shut with limescale -There were spider webs in the bathroom -Carpet in room was dirty (when walking with socks on they would become black) -asked for a wake up call on my travel day and we never got it.
Close to Underground Nice Area Good value Friendly, helpful staff
Broken bath plug
Reception area & breakfast
Room, decor and beds need serious upgrade.
Location, Value for money
Breakfast monotonous, everyday
Excellent value for money!! right in the heart of Notting Hill, a very peaceful location, absolutely loved it! We had a great sleep! regarding the comments which were describing the rooms looking very tired and bla bla bla, all I want to tell these people is to stop making so much drama! for this price, for this location, these rooms are excellent! these stupid comments almost put us off in booking it! what a shame! this hotel deserves better comments!
Location was good and breakfast was ok.
The room was next to a lift elevator in the basement. Was extremely noisy and hot. Bathroom old and small. I feel the pictures on booking.com misled how the rooms actually look.
good location, next to tube and bus stations. clean and large room for reasonable price. nice breakfast. helping staff.
we could hear people walking on the floor above really early in the morning. Don't forget your earplugs!
Size of room, which was large by London standards. Very clean, and the cleaning staff were really good at topping up the toiletries, etc., which I find a lot of places don't. Good breakfast buffet. Friendly staff.
The bed was not much more than a camp bed, though to be fair I did get used to it. The shower unit was a bit irritating, but this is typical of most hotels. Apart from these minor grouses, the Bayswater is excellent value for money, and we'll definitely stay there again.
I booked a twin room and was given a large Quad room. The room was clean and fresh. over exceeded my expectations. Public areas are clean and fresh.
The hotel internet was quite expensive. and only available in the main reception area. Night security was concerning that the door was not on buzzer and I was not asked on entry to show my room card or verify my room. I arrived back to the hotel after 1 am
Most things satisfactory
Some rooms had been refurbished but ours hadn't and was a bit scruffy. Light in bathroom kept flickering and we had to ask to have it changed.
charging 1£ for keeping the lugagge for a few hours
The rate included breakfast.
First room was awful; second room *upgrade*over priced. The shower temperature either scalding or freezing; no in between. No tissues in bathroom; 2 tiny packets of shower gel and miniature soap bars and nowhere to rest anything in the shower. Power tools first thing in the morning and appliances running at night. Many TV stations without picture. I take a dim view to an establishment whose front of house is immaculate, but has less than satisfactory interior once the exit door from the lobby opens. I couldn't get out of there fast enough.
Breakfast and location
Room is in need of a refurbishment
The reception area
The bedroom was grotty and dull. It felt like we had been shut away in the basement of an old building!
