Warm welcome, nothing was too much, relaxing atmosphere. We were visiting our son who attends Bangor uni and were asked if he would like to join us for breakfast at no extra cost-we really appreciated this offer and so did he! Value for money with generosity and a smile -we will definitely be visiting again.
Most friendly and helpful B & B owner I've ever met. It was our first visit to Bangor as we we're attending an open day at the University and the owner told us where everything was, which was very helpful when we first arrived. Brilliant family room for older children, two double beds and a single. Breakfast was lovely too, will definitely stay there again.
Cozy room, nice and clean, comfy beds, great breakfast, friendly staff.
No heating in bathroom!, brrr!
Our welcome was one of the warmest I've encountered anywhere and finding the hotel, parking in its forecourt (right outside the main entrance) and arrival were all convenience itself. Location perfect for our needs and the bed was comfortable.
High ceilings in this Victorian/Edwardian villa hotel meant that single domestic radiators were not man enough for the job; rooms rarely more than tepid (mid Feb). Basically clean hotel, but tired, tatty décor in places - really needs a warmer facelift. Cooked breakfast was fine, but avoid eggs other than fried; scrambled really rubbery.
good breakfast, egg - mmm
Short notice booking but we found the staff extremely accommodating and happy to fit in with our arrangements. Good location and decent facilities, very good value.
central location free wifi, great signal comfortable
missing blind slats
Have stayed here often and like the friendly atmosphere and very sociable host. Warm and comfortable and good food
The staff were very nice and friendley room very clean nice big bathroom .hotel close by everything and in walking distance.
Friendly Staff Excellent Breakfast Clean
bed a little soft
Quit friendly atmosphere. Good Breakfast
We thought breakfast finishing at 9am was a little to early other places we've stayed it finished at 10-am but the owner was very kind and served us breakfast at 9-30am thought she was very pleasant and breakfast was lovely.
Would have preferred a shower as being older we struggle to get in and out of the bath.
The bed was very comfortable
We had a warm welcome, the beds were very comfortable, wifi worked well and everything was clean. Other guests were quiet, breakfast was very nice too.
Decor a little dated but it really didn't make any difference.
Fantastic location. Just 15 mins ish walk into town. Friendly welcome. nice room. We were at the front of the Hotel with nice views over the hills. No noise issues at all. Clean towels both days and nice toiletries in the bathroom. Loved the breakfast. Nice to have marmalade in a preserve jar rather than silly little single portions. If ever in Bangor again will definitely check availability.
Staff very friendly and helpful
It's very dated, our room was also quite cramped
There wasn't anything I disliked about the Hotel. I had what I paid for.
very close to the Uni and the owner let us leave our car there for the day whilst we visited the Unis open day
the check in was early, which we missed, but they accomodated us
Short walk from the beautiful Bangor pier. Nice breakfast. Staff were generally friendly and accommodating.
We were arriving late evening and reception closes at 7pm. The bedroom was very small. The B&B is placed on a main road so if you have a room at the front there is some traffic noise.
We were instantly greeted by a friendly face, upgraded to a spacious and clean room and had a lovely stay. You can ask for whatever you want for breakfast and the hotel is quiet. If you want to stay somewhere with a friendly, personal touch - Baytree Lodge is the place.
Really friendly staff made you feel very welcome Very comfy bed Great room temp
Decore is a bit dated but all clean. Students noisy passing late at night but staff can't help that.
Friendly staff walking distance to local pubs and pier and shopping centre it made my disabled sister walking ability easier
Friendly staff Nice, clean and comfortable room Very good location Good value for money
Very happy with overnight stay
Stephanie was a lovely host & we plan to book for our next visit to Bangor.
