Bed was comfortable. Towels were clean.

We stayed for two nights and there was no hot water on the first morning so we couldn't have a shower. The decor is tired and dated. The tiles in the bathroom were grubby with splash marks and water marks all over them. The towels are very small and thin. (very poor quality) Cobweb hanging from ceiling. loud music playing in the next room cold draft in room

Staff were very warm and friendly. The bed was warm and comfortable.

Could have done with a hairdryer and an ironing-board.

Our rooms were clean

The double bed used up the space in the single room (it was a single room so why the double bed when there was no room to get around it) The towels were so thin they were like kitchen rolls. The bedside lamp in one of our rooms was falling apart and I was concerned about whether it would catch on fire. I risked it and am here to tell the tale. The breakfast ran along the same lines as the towels in the rooms - cheap and nasty. The cereal tasted and felt like cardboard and the toast was so hard it could have cracked our teeth if we had persisted! Considering the price, there were no extras, such as fruit and to accompany the rock-toast, there was a scraping of marmalade in the bottom of what should have been an attractively full jam jar...it looked like the proprietor had put just enough (and no more!) jam in that jar to spread on two half-triangles of toast. The room in which we ate breakfast was dark and windowless - completely devoid of any character.

A double bed in a room only suitable for a single bed. Towels etc needed throwing out three years ago. Undisclosed charge to use a credit/debit card. No invoice given, implying that cash stays did not go through the books.

Family room was very small and cramped. The room door was very difficult to lock and then unlock. Shabby bathroom mat with holes in. Tile coming off side of the bath, hole kicked in the back of the bathroom door. Very small bath. Very small bath towels. Had to move the furniture around so that the kettle would reach the plug. Bedside lamp wasn't plugged in either. No hairdryer. Breakfast room was over cramped. Sausages were very dry. Tea and coffee were not very pleasant either.

Very welcoming. We were told to ask for anything we needed. Ideas & directions given for places to eat. They noticed it was our wedding anniversary & we returned in the evening to find a tray with wine & chocolates in our room; a lovely touch - much appreciated.

No hairdrier in the room. Nowhere to put things in the bathroom.

This B&B is like an hotel: less personal, many rooms, well organised (limited in time) breakfast, early checkout.

The familyroom was too small for four people and not very clean.

I have stayed in Baytree Lodge on many occasions over the last few year. The rooms are very clean and comfortable and the welcome is great. The establishment is within walking distance of Bangor town centre and although situated on the main road is very quiet. I will stay there again when next in Bangor.
