Toilet wasn't flushed; towels had lipstick and hair; carpet and walls were dirty; reception doesn't work( staff most of the times isn't there); noisy until midnight; for the underground station it takes at least 15 to 20 minutes walking, it's a nightmare and not a safe place at night.
Friendly staff, pleasant atmosphere and comfortable bed
Breakfast was very poor, unless you only want toast and tea/coffee
Torn sheets, broken shower, holes in the wall, bad location. Bad value for money will never go again. Staff weren't friendly. No phone in the room or tea and coffee or kettle. Very disappointing for the price.
Blood on walls, noisy heating, chewing gum on bedside cabinet, no tea or coffee facilities, dirty bathroom with lots of fungus on tiles, wet floor, toilet doors on outside of room, breakfast at 8:30am but stated 7 on laminated card in room. bed was comfortable
no hot water for my shower breakfast not served until 8.30am on a weekday morning! Free Wi-Fi didn't work On arrival took a long time to get someone at reception
Tea/Coffee/sugar/packet of 2 biscuits making facilities should be in the room & a small bottle of water too. This hotel is in much need of a piant job! WINDOWS NEED CLEANING YOU CANT SEE OUT!
Room was nice, bed was comfortable and clean.
Was quite small for a double room and also the bathroom.
Helpful staff and clean. Cheaper rates
20 mins walk to tube 10 mins walk to Wetherspoons Hotel for dinner Good patisserie opposite
Hotel is shabby Our room was not serviced Breakfast was not a full English, but adequate. The manager did not have our booking when we arrived and would not take our details. Reception was closed when we checked out and we still haven't paid and don't know what to do about it.
Great hotel for last minute booking X
The Smell of breakfast was over powering as we're vegaterians
Location, close to train and lots of shops, plenty of buses and huge Westfield shopping centre close
The hotel, poor reception, heaps of stairs, no lift, smells of damp, shower Poor's water all over the floor even though it has been renovated so the floor is a bit mouldy, very mouldy shower, no toilet roll holder, see hole in wall where it was, hand cleaner empty, sheets stained with mould spots, towels stunk as if they had been sitting around wet for weeks before washing, I used toilet paper to dry myself! In the morning strange noises from next unit as if they were sanding something. We didn't have breakfast as I didn't trust the cleanliness of the hotel. Told the owners about the shower problem and he said because it easy an old hotel we don't have the right plumbing. Hotel needs a total overhaul inside to warrant 3 stars, I'd give it 1 star. Stayed in a lot of hotels now and you cannot trust the star rating, go by peoples reviews. Some 3 star hotels should be 4 and other 3 stars we have stayed in deserve 1, if that! Why can't they hire good cleaners for rooms? If you can afford it pay for a better hotel. Noise didn't bother me from downstairs as we stayed mid week and pub closed early.
guy at the desk was nice. bed linen was clean.
dirty place. noisy. unsafe area.
nothing but the lady serve breakfast was so kind and seems like only staff

I want my refund money at any cast please I deserve it ... thanks
* price quality ratio * position not too far from stratford underground station
* wifi connection extremely poor * stinking smell on stairs * filthy towels and carpets
Basic, reasonable cost. Location. Ok for 1 night stay.
Breakfast too late. In city like London who will wait till 8.30 am to have breakfast.
Bed was super comfy and there was a desk as was there for business. Also, the fan was good even if it was loud. Easy to get to stratford station, took about 15-20 mins to walk.
The shower didn't work! Took me about 30-45 to get shampoo out... Breakfast started after I left as had an early start (left at 7:30). Also, the room was really noisy but guess that's just the area.
Bedding was clean and other reviews said otherwise so improvement there. Cheap for London and did the job of quick stop over but really couldn't recommend. Pictures on site were so much better than the real thing. We thought we were getting a I bargain instead got what we paid for.
3 men sitting watching Asian tv in reception. Barely acknowledged us during check in! Decor off putting, stains on walls and ceilings.those guys could have cleaned up rather than just sitting on their backsides all day! Linen piled up in corridor.
Advertised cooked breakfast was a choice of 2 fried eggs or 2 scrambled eggs. Could not use most of power points due to obstruction by furniture. Shower was hand held and curtain was mounted at a height that meant you were stood on it. No proper lock
Location was ok for what we wanted.
Simply put, this is the worst place I have ever stayed. Cockroaches and fleas everywhere. Grotty and horrible. You should not offer this hotel on your website. It makes me not want to use booking.com ever again as this hotel was vile. We slept fully clothed and checked out at 7am just to get away. No more words to explain how dirty I felt when I left the "hotel".
The bed was very comfortable and when I needed a light bulb changing the maintenance was done quickly
The materials used to make the hotel are of high quality but the standard of maintenance in the building leaves a lot to be desired A lick of paint and a carpet cleaner would be helpful
Cheap, comfy bed. Clean room interior, furniture was in good order. TV worked, but was certainly the lower end of budget build quality. Reasonable quality shampoo and soap in the wet room. Free WiFi (plus BT Openzone if you subscribe). Local(ish) to the town.
Staff rudeness - this was totally unacceptable from both day and night staff! The reception is closed and locked nearly all of the time and you need to ring a mobile phone for them to attend. This is compounded because they ask you to leave your key when you leave to go somewhere... I'd advise not to. Filthy carpets, walls marked and dirty. Wet room shower/toilet was smelly and unventilated. Sink was blocked and didn't drain. As it was 0645 in the morning, there was nobody to complain to about this. *See point 1. Noisy rooms (from other guests) including 'nocturnal activities' so loud, I thought someone was watching porn with the speaker turned-up. Yes, we all know what happens in hotel rooms, but for a bit of common decency, perhaps they need to add some sound-deadening materials between room divides. The 'laughable' use of toilet door locks on the hotel room doors. They say Vacant when unlocked and Engaged when you lock them. I bet lone, female travelers feel very secure in the knowledge that everyone knows there's someone in the room. Yes it's a budget hotel, but for £15 extra I could have stayed in a chain hotel with none of the above. Possibly the second worst hotel I have ever stayed in.
Location, good wifi
Poor breakfast, the reception was not manned on Sunday morning when we wanted to complain about the noise the previous night and get a VAT receipt. The window in the room could no be neither opened nor close.
The bed was comfortable.
The shower/toilet area was very small and was made into a wet room but on lino which was a little strange.
Lack of lift Heater on every time
