I didn't like the cleanliness of the room there was condom packets and condoms down the side of the bed by the window along with other bits of rubbish.
Room was good
Breakfast timing is too late
you could not supply me with a takeaway breakfast. no milk for tea very noisy music till late. ( I was getting up at 5.30 am.)
Bed was comfortable
Fire alarm going off at 0200 and resulting smell of something not right in the basement. As I had a 100 mile cycle that day, a lack of sleep was not good. No tea facilities and not able to have breakfast due to an early start Public bar downstairs with noise till after midnight
cockroaches spotted in bathroom, no simple things in room like kettle!
- Basic facilities met - Standard room - Acceptable bed - Acceptable breakfast
- Far from train station (20 minutes walk) - Shower wasn't working well (water was either too hot or too cold) - No A/C; small oscillating fan provided
i hate this hotel its worst hotel in london. i will never go there rooms are dirty early morning water is not coming so we could not take bath.there is no lift . there is bar and not good for families. ther is seperate entrance for hotel but bar people are standing ther also . VERY VERY BAD HOTEL
The reception closed by 9pm,the tv in the room i stayed was not working, there was intercom to contact the reception. I had to go down ring a number, someone picked it up and promised someone will come and fix it, to my suprise nobody turn up and lastly there was no bedsheet in the room i slept. To be candid i didnt really get the value of the money i paid. The room number is Room 202.
Clean sheets and towels short walk to tube, some staff helpful
On my confirmation booking said full English breakfast included, breakfast was actually omelette cold beans and toast. No tea making facilities. Over priced for what you got for your money. Pictures on booking.com a bit deceiving. A very low budget hotel wish I'd paid a little more. Very noisy especially in the early hours speak limit of 30mph ! Sounded like a race track with it being a straight road
The staff were less than helpful if you ever even seen any. Our bedroom window was nailed open so our bed and feet were soaked during a stormy night!! Not pleasant. The towels were dirty with someone elses make-up! There was no breakfast served and if you left to go out you had to leave your key on the top of the fridge, whixh was in view from the main entrance- nice a secure up there! The shower didnt work properly or the soap dispensers. This place was shocking, we even had to wake up a staff memeber at half 8 to check out as nobody was about. Avoid completely!
Price. Location close to Stratford, Jubilee Line and O2. Wi-Fi. Provided a Cooling Fan.
Poor Lighting in Bathroom. No bedside Lighting. "Full English Breakfast" consisted of Egg, Beans and Toast.
confortable bed easy to rich by bus
No wardrobe; a little bit noisy
Space within Single rooms
Toilet leaking all over the bathroom floor. Plugs covered in tape to prevent electrocution. Junk mail and litter piled up on the floor in front of a disused staircase. Chips and beer from previous night on pub bar floor where breakfast was served. Cold fried eggs cooked when? Miserable breakfast. Breakfast consisted of dissolved orange powder and water, dusty tea bags, luke warm water, weak coffee, milk (ok), fried eggs or omelette... That was it. I ordered fried eggs and got an omelette but judging from the man at the next table's reaction to his cold congealed fried egg my microwave reheated omelette wasn't too bad. Hey, you can't wreck salt and pepper! Never ever again.
the location getting to the o2 was excellent
dying for a cuppa in the morning and couldn't supply us with anything as ran out of supplies and the cook said she would have to ring the boss.
Room really small and extremely hot, The pub down stairs was really rough and too be avoided unless your in a gang. Breakfast only served at 8.30am so didn't bother having it, due to escaping from this place at 8.30am. however I think the owners know this and do it to save money.
The staff were friendly but did struggle to understand too much English. The cleanliness was quite good
The full English breakfast was a choice of Eggs and toast or Beans and toast with a coffee or tea. The shower in the room was broken off the wall and although they offered us use of another room it was only for friday evening as it was let on Saturday evening. We got there on Friday and there was no shower curtain up. No curtain at the bathroom window although it was frosted glass. The shower was hanging off the wall and not useable. I asked for a plug and was told that i could not have a bath as I might flood the hotel. The bedroom smelt of the indian takeaway next door as the kitchen fan for the takeway is on the roof just at the side of the window. The main window was covered by a broken roller blind and when we rolled it up the window was very dirty never been cleaned in years. The room had two steps down into it which were dangerous and no sign to warn you as you opened the door. The listing said visitors should only meet in the lounge this is ok but the lounge is reception and it shuts about 7pm at night. The breakfast is served in a dirty scruffy public bar next door. Only 4 tables for breakfast although there are far more rooms let. This was a disgrace and a big disappointment for a weekend we were really looking forward to.
Location near station Relatively clean
Should have viewed room first not paid upfront. seemed to be in a room not regularly used. No proper shower! lots of things broken, although relatively clean. No emergency lighting No fire exit directions. Stairs just outside room lead to hallway full of junk mail. Gave up trying to get breakfast, no where to sit and only one person cooking and serving.
Distance from my destination .
Cleanliness : filthy carpet , foul smelling toilet, used toilet seat , sticky toilet floor. Room size very claustrophobic . No tea/coffee in room. No cupboard in room . Towel were wet, so not sure if they were properly cleaned. Paid for Breakfast but looked like fraud . Only four table in hall, only one Lady serving people more then twenty . U have to wait for the table and then place order , which the sole lady will take and then go in kitchen and prepare for you( lady was nice though-ofcourse not her fault). Reception door was lock in morning, so not a single human being to contact in morning. Overall hotel was a total management failure. Management mentality looked like profit only with no regard for customer and quality.
24 hour access. Easy to park.
Shower thermostate did not work, water far to hot.
the only thing was the location of the hotel which was ideal ..
our room did not get cleaned at all over the 3 days i was there.. there wasnt even a bin in the room the flow of water was rubbish in the toilet. the breakfast was absoultly disgusting.. cutlery all dirty skiped breakfast every day
Everything. Awful location in a rough area of East London. The bed had hair in and the room smelt of the person before. The room is tiny and very hard to relax. I ended up sleeping on top of the quilt, with my coat as the cover. The bathroom was a wet room and very old fashioned. I did not sleep well and on a business trip this ruined my whole working week in London. Would not recommend to anyone.
I've lived in a single room. Not excellent, but everything is ok. Value for money. There was no noise from the bar, maybe because my room was upstairs. There are many shops and takeaway points (doner kebab, chinese, pizza) working late. In the middle of the way from the Stratford station there is Morrisons supertore, where you can buy everything. There are also 2 shopping centres near Stratford.
It's realy far from the nearest tube station app. 20 minutes walk.
Not much... the wifi was decent.
First of all this is not a hotel. This is a bottom-of-the-list b&b situated above a pub! The result was that Saturday evening the entire room was shaking from the unbelievably loud music in the pub. When the music finally stopped after 23:00 and was finally able to sleep a fight broke out just under my window lasting for almost 40min. The room was down right dirty. Both pillow cases had black smudges and hair. The bathroom floor was filthy with multiple mold patches between the floor tiles and there was a distinct smell or mold. The bed had a decorative, aluminum strip on the headboard which fell off as soon as I touched the headboard. There was no shower or bathtub so you had to shower right on the bathroom floor which complecated things. And on top of all that there was no hot water after 22:00!!! Last but not least, breakfast was only served between 08:30 & 10:30! Which meant that we since I had to leave at 07:00 in order to be at my seminars by 7:30, there was no possibility of having breakfast. No, I will not be staying there again and I do not recommend it. I would much rather pay an extra 20-30pounds and stay at a decent place. Ps: no I didn't get to confront the staff about all this causes I was out all day and when I returned in the evening there was no one at the reception except for a note with a mobile phone number... by the time I was checking out I just couldn't be bothered.
