Attebt to detail
The question is what I didn't like...? Nothing!
Nothing! All top!
The view was superb from the Superior Double room, we could lie in bed and look straight out onto the Moray Firth. First class extras such as toiletries, towels, biscuits etc. Good choice for breakfast, well cooked.
as non dog lovers we really could have done without the dog jumping up at us and whining when it was eventually closed in the kitchen. Which, I have to wonder whether it is a hygiene standard problem. I could see as soon as we left it was allowed to go into the dining room area. Parking space is limited, with not much manoeuvrability.
Loved the cottage... Brad, the proprietor, offered advice for food and touring... He recommende the Cowdor Tavern, about nine miles from the B&B... We ate there twice! This is not in the town centre, but that's why we booked it! Great breakfast.. Great location... Clean B&B!
I was getting tired of driving the narrow Scotish roads... Fortunately, Brad sent us to a restaurant away from town in Cowdor... Very nice historical town...
Location...out of town, peaceful, great outlook, excellent welcome, only two bedrooms so no crowd
No power points in bathroom. May annoy some guests.
What a terrific place to stay! We spent one night in Inverness and had an amazing stay at Beach Cottage B&B. The owner, Brad, is a very attentive and friendly host who has thought of every detail. He upgraded us to the Moray Suite, a very nice, new, and tastefully outfitted room with a phenomenal view of the bay. The view was absolutely breathtaking and the room is all glass facing the sea, complete with two French doors. The room and B&B in general has the professional look, smell, detail, and feel of a high end hotel, with the small, personal touch of a B&B. The room is trimmed with a flat panel TV, coffee and tea machine, soaps, shampoos, shower caps, etc. The cleanliness cannot be overstated- it is absolutely impeccable. Simply stated, the attention to detail is amazing. Breakfast was a highlight. We came down to be greeted by a impressive spread of cold breakfast. We enjoyed a yogurt, cheese, bread, juice, coffee, and tea while we looked over his menu of hot breakfast selections. We both ordered the smoked salmon egg scramble and it was positively phenomenal. I can't recommend this B&B highly enough!
Great quiet location overlooking the water. Very clean rooms and comfortable bed.
The out look from the bedroom was stunning, the location was very quite, easy access to Inverness by car, and Brad the owner was very informative about Inverness, Oh and he has a sweet and very friendly dog named Branston
Lovely location, friendly owner, Bradley, and lovely breakfast - huge choice.
Shower ceiling was a little low.
Beautiful location stunning views. Extremely well equipped bedroom with beautiful furnishings Delicious breakfast.
We had such a great stay at Beach Cottage. Absolutely beautiful location, super clean and well run. Bradley was very welcoming and knowledgeable of the area. Breakfast was delicious. Sunset superb.
The welcome was really friendly. The room was very comfortable, well appointed and very clean and tidy. The breakfast options were very good and the proprietor provided very good advice on suitable places to eat in the locality.
Every thing about Beach Cottage was excellent, the owner Bradley (and his dog Branston) was a perfect host and made us most welcome, he gave us excellent advice on places to visit during our stay. The choice of breakfasts was amazing for such a small B & B, including a full Scottish, scrambled eggs with smoked salmon, smoked haddock and even kippers, all this plus a variety of cereals, fresh fruits, cold meats and cheeses and pastries. The rooms were beautifully decorated and had views straight out onto the Moray Firth. Internet access was available free of charge in all areas, and a big flat screen TV to watch the soaps!! not that you would have enough time to watch TV as there is so much to do and visit in the area. Inverness is just a 5 minute drive away. Loch Ness was a 15 minute drive.
Excellent B&B, maintained to the highest standard, superb views over Moray Firth. Bradley was a perfect host with the addition to Branston his loving dog which was an added bonus. Our stay at Beach Cottage was a delightful experience also the breakfast was exceptional with a fine selection catered for everyone's needs. Bradley was the perfect host and strives on perfection and succeeded in making my stay complete...Highly recommended....
