Quiet location and quiet at night so everyone could sleep. No rowdy occupants.very good breakfast, clean rooms and comfortable matresses. Very friendly staff. We stayed for bed and breakfast only, but on Sunday evening we decided to have the evening meal. However this was not good value for money as although the food was good ,there was not enough on the plates and we were all still hungry afterwards.

Staff were very friendly We had booked 2 double rooms for single occupancy and were told when we checked in that one of us would have to move into a single room for the last 2 nights as they needed the double room. We refused and the next morning we had a note pushed under the door saying we had to move that day, again we refused and after a 3rd request and 3rd refusal they gave up. Also buses are not as convenient as described.

Staff Very helpful, Breakfast was good. Comfort of the bed was not good. Very noise with slaming doors, noise from people above. Not alot on the menu at lunch time or bar snacks. They only did 2x sandwichs. The pool was smaller than it looks on the picture and wasn't cleaned very much so looked dirty all the time.

A smart, clean, modern hotel. Good breakfasts, staff always polite, helpful and friendly. It has a small pool with sunloungers and towels provided, a garden area and tennis court. My son liked the WIFI availability in the reception area so he could keep in touch with his friends via Facebook! We would all happily go back tomorrow! I could have wished for a wider choice of food available in the evening, if I was being picky, but that's only because I have difficulty finding food that my older son will try. Along with the rest of Jersey, eating out is expensive.

The hotel was out in the country, I had a gift car so it was close to town and the beach. Quiet and a real get away. The breakfast buffet was good however the evening meal was terrible, I ate there twice, first meal was very poor, second was so bad I sent it back. Did not rat dinner in the hotel again for the remaining.g two weeks.

Great people! Loved the pool! Beachcombers not near the beach. No phone in room. Only 2 sockets in room! 'Double bed' actually two single bases with a large mattress! Kids not catered for well at the evening meal.

Fantastic hotel with a very nice sized room pleasure to stay there I will definitely stay again. I would have loved to have stayed in the hotel restaurant but it was very expensive with not much choice in meals. The bar was also very expensive £4.50 for a can of Magners poured into a glass with ice.

Hello The value is not good The restaurant was very poor. The portions for dinner was very small . Asked for extra portion said they had no moreThe meals were not presented very well. The bathroom had no handle on the wall of the bathroom to hold on to when having a shower not good for old people, The location is to far away from restaurants if you were having a drink you would need a taxi

The proximity to bus stops and the quiet location. No elevator, there were a lot of eldely residents staying. The proximity of the car park to the pool area. More definite boundary for car park would make a big difference, especially for children's safety.

There was a warm welcome. The room was spacious, recently refurbished. The evening meal was poor. Only a set menu was offered. I had moules - the smallest portion I've ever seen. Dessert was a buffet. If you wanted cheese it was a pile of little chopped-up pieces. Horrid.

The room was tidy and clean, but needed to be renewed especially the bathroom. The night porter was always very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was really poor (no selection of bread at all, no fresh fruit ) with bad quality of items. Moreover I didnt understand why nobody of the three waitress - that were standing there every morning - brought me coffee or tea at my table. I know it was a buffet breakfast, but normally the hot drinks are served at the table. There was always a queue for toast and I'm afraid orange juice was from concentrate. Staff at reception corteous but not so much competent : I asked for bus timetable and I was given a completely wrong information. When I checkined I was given a sheet to fill with credit card details included the security code number. That was unbelievable! I complained and I said that I would never filled it. The girl seemed not understand and then after checking on her computer she let me go as she realized that I already paid a deposit. Anyway I found extremely bad to ask for credit card details on a paper. I work for one of the largest hotel chain in the world and I know very well the booking procedures. The hotel rating should be 2 stars.

“This is my second visit to the Waters Edge and I have been very satisfied indeed with the standard of accommodation and the overall quality, bearing in mind the price we paid. The location is excellent, adjacent to the beach. The quality of food is very good and there is a good range of options. The staff are also very helpful and attentive.
