food and service in the restaurant
Location Excellent , comfortable rooms a wonderful relaxing time , wish we could have stayed longer.
staff were polite
restaurant food miniscule shower cubicle climbing 2 flights of narrow stairs wasnt told of difficult access hard bed only given an option of eating as soon as we arrived or wouldnt feed us arrival 6.30
Quality of Breakfast
Gravel car park narrow corridors to rooms
room was clean comfortable great bed
very friendly staff,good breakfast,nice room,good car park.
The location Room Food
Duvet too warm
Staff were helpful. Internet access was good.
Very old tacky rooms with no views difficult to access through winding narrow corridors and stairway. The a la carte dining presented very ordinary food at 5 star prices.
Excellent staff - credit to the hotel
Staff helpful from the moment we arrived. Free parking. Breakfast served well and good quality. Room clean and comfortable. Helpful with our grandchildren in all ways. The whole thing was better than I expected.
Rain on one night!
Clean and in a great location
WiFi signal was very weak in 59
From entering to leaving we met only smiles and friendliness.
Nothing to dislike
the location is excellent, the staff are very helpful - the pool is a bonus, although quite deep for the little ones.
there was an issue with the water supply and we had to fill the bath using the shower head, which was impractical and contained a previous guests genital hair! we only stayed for 2 nights and although the room itself was well cleaned, the bathroom hadn't been touched - it was a shame that this overshadowed an otherwise lovely trip.
I quite like the swimming pool
The shower is sooo bad! There is no much water coming out.
Clean, very friendly staff and a warm welcome. We were there to visit our daughter who works at Butlins. So the location was excellent.
We were very impressed with all members of staff. From our time of arrival to our departure we were made to feel very welcome. Any information we needed concerning our visit to the area was given with a very friendly manor. The kind gentleman even made a phone call for us to get the information we required. This hotel is excellent in all areas and great value for money. So well done to all your staff and a big thank you for a wonderful weekend.
We, as were other guests, were disappointed that the bar closed and there was not a residential bar.
Staff were very friendly and accommodating Would recommend
The hotel you couldn't fault staff could not do enough for you, breakfast to die for, to get your energy for the day ahead, short walk to the lobster restaurant , again food couldn't fault smiley faces from staff very attentive, pub a short distance to walk but worth it.
I thought is was nearer than expected, as we walked from the station, also two flights of stairs, which after walking nearly all day, you don't need two flight of stairs. The thing with hotels that I particular don't like is the small pods of milk you get in the room, it makes the coffee disgusting, just wish they could give clients small jugs of milk for the room.
Staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and tidy. Lovely breakfast, lots of choice. Great location right near beach.
Indoor heated pool wasn't heated as heating was broke so pool was cold. Considering the amount of money I paid for 2 nights the room was pretty basic and small for 3 us, don't think the price reflects the facilities. Hotel a bit old fashioned, could do with being updated. Wifi signal was very poor. Couldn't park in car park when I arrived as all the spaces were taken by people having lunch in the hotel that weren't guests there!!! So I had to park on road outside and drag my cases across...not very practical for a single mum with 2 kids. Parking spaces should be priority to paying guests at hotel!...
The location near the sea. Free Wi-Fi.
Rather old-fashioned décor.
It was an excellent location for sightseeing Chichester, Arundel etc.
that we couldn't stay there longer!
A traditional seaside hotel. All staff very well trained -for example, the initial welcome was marvellous. Food was good - if a little old-fashioned. Next to the sea too -lovely fresh air! Well appointed bathroom.
Pool was disappointingly small & not entirely clean. Room was well appointed but the bed wasn't very comfortable and access was only by two flights of quite steep and narrow stairs.
The location & level of service were faultless. I would recommend this hotel to those of all ages.
Staff was good, food was very good and had goodnight sleep! Room was spacious. Stayed at room 28.
It would have been good to have water available for tea as well in the room.
